I wanted to give the benefit of doubt to the barista VAN, but I came back again today and she was a complete disappointment. From observation, I see that she has actually received a few POSITIVE reviews here on google, but lets take note on who made them as well. Explains A LOT. I have been a loyal customer and supporter of Starbucks for 11yrs now. From collecting over 100+ Cold cups to having my DAILY Frappuccino’s, refusing to support any other coffee brand/shop, and let’s not mention the thousands of dollars I’ve spent over the years supporting the company I truly love. She will not stop me from coming to Starbucks as a whole but this location for sure. She was VERY rude and her passive and nonchalant attitude needs to be addressed. Her attitude seemed to derive from what I ordered but her demeanor saw itself through once I arrived to the window as if she was in total disgust. She stated to me that this location was a franchise in hopes that I wouldn’t know the culture and facts of Starbucks as a company. Starbucks does have independent partners such as locations within grocers like target, Publix, and hospitals, but to deceive me as a way to shun me/disregard her terrible service was the kicker. I have been a customer of this specific location for 2yrs and i have never had a barista with an attitude as awful as hers at ANY location. From Cristian to Mercedes, and so many others; they have ALL been wonderful even when I come LATE NIGHT. I often can tell they’re ready to go home and get some rest, but they never let it affect their service. EVER. Her attitude and demeanor STOOD OUT and I made it my mission to report it in this locations reviews. As an Operating Manager in the service industry, her level of service was unacceptable and would be grounds for disciplinary action in any establishment under my supervision. Her customer service SUCKS and is bad for business overall. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly no matter the appearance, car they drive, or how much money they spend. In life, refrain from JUDGING as everyone will have their judgement day. Besides, you never know who’s who. You might just need...
Read moreThis store engages in bait and switch pricing at least on my purchase. I ordered a cheese Danish and the label gave a price of $3.25. But the receipt had it as $3.45. OK ok it's only 20 cents but that is beside the point.
When I pointed it out to the the worker he was speechless and didn't know what to do. The manager came over and said it's because the price includes the tax. Clearly that is not true. The tax is added on at the bottom of the receipt separately. The cheese Danish shows only the price of the item without the tax included. I pointed this out immediately as untrue. The manager then handed me a quarter abruptly and impatiently. And said "have a wonderful day." But it was said in my view in a very snarky way with an accompanying facial expression that did match the good wishes.
Then she admitted after more questioning that the price went up recently and they had not changed the label. My impression was I was being gaslighted and had to engage in continued verbal discussion to get the money back. If a mistake was made it's OK. They should just tell me in the beginning and say "sorry Sir our error" and be the end of it instead of the denial and apparent gaslighting.
Also on top of that the coffee was bitter and the cheese Danish was substandard. I'm done with Starbucks. Be nice to your customers or you wont have any. It's bad enough how prices are going up
They also microwaved the cheese Danish while in the cellophane wrapping. I never do that at home. As best I could research I came up with the following guidance:
"The USDA says plastic wrap is actually safe to use in the microwave, as long as it’s labeled microwave-safe. More importantly, they recommend that the plastic wrap not touch the actual food."
I don't know if the cellophane is microwave safe and it was touching the cheesDanish. The production date listed on the cellophane said: 08-Nov-2022. I purchased this item on 25-Dec-2022. I guess it stays frozen for most of that time and I don't know what preservatives [if any] is in the Cheese Danish. Anyway it tasted just like that: a frozen reheated limp Danish. Thanks...

Update 5/26/18 It's been months since I gave up on Starbucks because they don't keep decaf brewed. Today while driving by, I took a chance and stopped in, guess what... NO DECAF!!!! Thankfully there is a Dunkin Donuts nearby, they always have hot decaf ready no matter what time I stop in.
Update 12/25 I stopped in, no decaf had been brewed yet. It was Christmas day and I appreciated them being open so I waited. Another visit on 12/27, no decaf brewed. Another stop on 12/30, I was told they needed to "re-brew" another batch, which I found hard to believe because it was only 7:15 AM, and obviously not too many decaf drinkers.
From previous months in 2017... This particular store usually has decaf prepared and they didn't let me down today either. Most other stores either don't keep it brewed or they have run out, causing me to dash over to Dunkin Donuts. I much prefer the taste of Starbucks over Dunkin. Thanks 5355 Sheridan St, I really appreciate your...
