Piola Italian Restaurant Hollywood — Restaurant in Hollywood

I've been coming to this Piola Hollywood location for a few years now and I have to admit this place has become a part of my families weekend ritual. When my wife and kids want to eat pizza, we always order from here. Their pizzas are thin crust and the ingredients are good quality. We have tried most of the pizzas on their menu. But our favorites are the Hollywood, Margherita and Farmers sausage Pizza. We typically get all three pizzas depending on our appetite, because their pizzas come in medium size only (they're not big pizzas). However, if you have a big family of four or more, I would recommend ordering more than three pizzas. They sell other stuff like pastas and sandwiches as well, but we go here mainly for the pizza.

We also sometimes order their desserts, try their Nutella pizza (I highly recommend) I thought it would be gross at first but it turned out to be pretty delicious.

Lastly, they are a little pricey but the food will not disappoint. Other than that, I think it's a good spot...

I am a long time customer of Piola and was so happy to that they were opening one close to my house. Unfortunately this location is not good at all across the board. The food is not prepared as well, they have a very limited menu and the staff is not polite at all. I called today because despite all that I was still willing to buy from them instead of the Hallandale location. I was trying to put an order in but through the app but if you know anything about their app is that it often is not working well in some way. So I called to put my order in. The girl who answered told me that there was no problem with the app and to put the order in I explained to her that I have been trying to and if she could please take my order. She said no try grub hub. At that point I’m ordering on Uber eats but not from that location the one in Hallandale where I have had a similar issue happen before and they were very polite and understanding. Please get your order from another location of Piola...

Not happy with the amount of toppings on my meat lovers Pizza, compared to the first time I ordered the same pizza one week earlier. First purchase at the Hallandale location. Second purchase at the Sheridan location. See pictures attached

I didn't mind paying a service fee and 20% tip. Just not sure why the inconsistency with the skimpy toppings. Had I received this second order originally. I would not have reordered or complained, just wouldn't go back. My thoughts would be "oh well I'm one and done!"

Unless someone reaches out soon to discuss. I will not purchase or recommend pizza from this place ever. Was a mistake made originally? Question that make you say HMMMM!

Quick update : I received a online response to my 1 star review from the " OWNER" within one hour. Sent an email to Owner within 5 -10 minutes. Now a few days NO COMMUNICATION WHATSOEVER !
