Have only been to Longhorn once before at a different location years ago. That said, everything about my previous Longhorn experience was lowered this night. To be fair, they were slammed on a Thursday. However, I observed more than enough staff to handle the crowd.
Food: Ribeye steak served was NOT ribeeye steak. The meat was very tough even though it was cooked medium well but more like medium with how pink it was in the middle. It seemed like the steak had been kept under a heavy object prior to cooking. Maybe that's what happened to it? The loaded baked potato...was not very loaded. Toppings were skimpy, including the butter and sour cream. The LH burger was ok. I was looking for a charbroiled taste but it seemed to have been cooked on a flattop. Good quality LTOP on the burger. Fries served alongside were overly salty!
I ordered a moscow mule cocktail but had to send it back - tasted like medicine. I think Sprite was used in the place of ginger soda.
Service: Our server was hustling but it seemed we were pushed to the backburmer. After waiting about 15 minutes for someone to come to the table, I set a timer for 5 more minutes. I said if they didn't come by the 5 minutes, we would just leave. They stopped by just before the 5 minutes was up to say they'd be with us soon. Then returned to take our order a few seconds after the timer went off. That was out first opportunity to ask for water, order drinks, etc. Too long of a wait. It seemed like other arriving tables did not have that experience, even tables with more guests than our party. We ordered everything at once to ensure we would get food in a somewhat timely manner. Service was only ok after that. Food was delivered by a runner but our server didn't come by to see what condiments or other items we needed until well after. My fries were getting cold by the time they stopped by and I was able to ask for ketchup. I was not at all impressed by the service.
Ambiance: It was SO LOUD in there. Much of it was the other patrons. The music was also quite loud but they were louder than that. I don't know if turning down the music would help people bring their voices down. But goodness gracious, that environment was too loud to really enjoy your food. Another note is the carpet overwhelmingly stinks. It should be removed. Not something one wants to smell while eating.
Value: Price was as expected, not very expensive. A family of four can probably make it out at $100-$125.
Overall: Would not recommend. The previous Longhorn I tried served an very good quality steak cokked with skill. If that is what one is looking for, I would skip...
Read moreRecently, my friends and I decided to dine at LongHorn Steakhouse, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice for our gathering. Here’s a glimpse into our experience:
The ambiance at LongHorn Steakhouse was warm and inviting, with a rustic yet modern decor that set the tone for a relaxed evening. The dim lighting and comfortable seating created a cozy atmosphere perfect for catching up with friends.
The service we received at LongHorn Steakhouse was impeccable. Despite being a large group, the staff were attentive and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and patient with our questions and requests. They made sure our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
The food at LongHorn Steakhouse exceeded our expectations. We started with the Wild West Shrimp appetizer, which was flavorful and cooked to perfection. For the main course, we indulged in a variety of steaks, ranging from the juicy Ribeye to the tender Filet Mignon. Each steak was expertly cooked to our desired doneness and seasoned with just the right amount of spices. The sides, including the loaded mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, were equally delicious and complemented the steaks perfectly.
LongHorn Steakhouse offers a good selection of drinks, including classic cocktails, wines, and beers. We enjoyed a few rounds of cocktails, such as the LongHorn Margarita and the Texas Peach Fuzz, which were expertly crafted and refreshing.
To top off our meal, we indulged in the Chocolate Stampede, a decadent dessert featuring layers of chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, and vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce. It was the perfect sweet ending to our dining experience and a delightful treat to share with friends.
While LongHorn Steakhouse is moderately priced, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience make it a worthwhile investment. The generous portions and excellent service justify the cost, making it a great value for a memorable meal with friends.
LongHorn Steakhouse provided us with a memorable dining experience that exceeded our expectations. From the inviting ambiance to the delicious food and attentive service, every aspect of our visit was top-notch. Read moreI attended this establishment tonight with my little sister and her daughter. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and although the parking lot was full, we were immediately seated. The first thing I noticed when we sat down (the middle section of the restaurant) was a smell like urine, I mentioned this to my sister who advised me she didn't smell anything so I didn't press the matter further, however I did continue to smell the odor periodically through the night. We were greeted by our server Kaya(Kaiya? Possibly) after about 5-7 minutes. I figured it was either busy or she was trying to give us time to decide. She was very friendly. After we got our drinks and placed our order for food I noticed she would attend to the table behind my sister several times(closer to the kitchen) but would not make an attempt to make her way over to out table so I called her name to get her attention. This pattern continued through the evening which resulted in me asking other servers for ketchup and mayonnaise for my niece's burger, waiting another 15 minutes to advise our server my sister's steak was overcooked, and yet another 15 minutes to receive our drinks. A very kind and attentive manager whose name I unfortunately did not catch in a floral blouse brought my sister's new plate which was cooked perfectly to temperature. Still more time passed and our server would attend to other tables but still not walk over to ours unless I called her name. I eventually caught her attention and asked for the check even though I wanted to buy dessert which I always so but did not want to because I felt like we could possibly be waiting another 15-20 minutes. After we paid, I approached the hostess and asked for the manager. I believe the assistant manager named Gigi approached our table and I communicated my frustrations with our service to her to which she responded "I wish you would have told me sooner so I could have gotten you free appetizers or something" I informed Gigi that we were not looking for free, in fact we compensated our server quite well despite my disappointment because I do not feel like the server deserves to be punished although the service was less than subpar. I eventually walked away from Gigi when it was clear that she would not be relaying my frustrations to the server. Overall, the food was good but it was a very...
