THIEVES AND SCAMMERS... I'm not good at giving bad reviews, but this place brought the biggest disappointment I ever had. This used to be my favorite mexican restaurant, and I was a regular customer, spending between $180 and $250 at least once a month (sometimes twice), and my only special request was to have my margaritas made with Don Julio tequila and Grand Manier. Those ingredients weren't cheap, but it was well worth it. The problem started when my special requests started to test unlike what I was asking for, but the bill kept coming with the charges from the special tequila and cordial. It happened several visits until a couple of months ago, when I decided to step out of the booth or table were I was sitted and go check on the bartender making the special margaritas I've been charged for. I saw the bartender pouring cheap tequila and cordial to make my margaritas. SURPRISE.... NOT, as I knew the taste of what I'm asking for. I let it slide a couple of times, until about a month or so, when I took a bunch of friends with me, and after ordering the special margaritas for everybody, I had enough of the same deception, and decided to confront the manager about it. Total disappointment, starting with the appearance of such manager (or it may have been the owner, it won't surprise me either), a toothless, awfully dressed, uneducated man, approached my table and didn't let me finish talking, shooting and assuring his staff don't make those tricks. I stopped the conversation and decided to leave, without making scene, but I'm sure will never step back to that place again. I rather make my margaritas at home, and it's the best and cheapest...
Read moreI have plenty of time to write this as I sit in the restaurant while my family eats the dinner. We have been coming here for over 6 years and moved a year ago. Decided to come back since it was always solid and on Sunday if you sit on the bar side drinks and appetizers are half off. Understandably the bar is closed and half the tables/booths are unusable. There was only a table left in the corner and my kids simply wanted to sit in a booth. They sat us on the non bar side and when asked about the happy hour the manger, who wouldn't come to the table, sent the waiter to say too bad. If not for wife and kids would have gotten up and left. They missed out on the drinks and food I would have ordered and the extra tip that comes with it. We don't go out often due to Covid but when we do I expect the restaurant to want my business. A little courtesy since half the bar tables are gone would have generated them more money. I have gone out of my way to leave 25% tips since things are hard. Big miss here. Do yourselves a favor and only go to local places that show you every day they want your business. They are the ones that deserve your hard earned money during these times. Thanks.
Decided to give the manager the benefit of the doubt. And as is becoming the go to for poor service I got the "cmon it's Covid doing the best I can." Being considerate is not something I accept as a Covid affected value for a restaurant. Again, go to business that show you they want your business in how they treat you. Otherwise your allowing restaurants to provide bad service and they will just do less and expect more. I'm a business owner and we don't make any...
Read moreHORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER Always enjoyed getting to go from Patron Azteca for about 5 years until today 5/5/22. They just ruined our 5 de Mayo celebration. I was calling to place an order, was very briefly told that they were not doing to go orders today because they're TOO busy. I asked if I was supposed to go to the restaurant and place the order there and he said "no to go today" and hung up. I called again to get his name and they wouldn't answer, just kept hanging up. A woman answered pretended to not hear me and hung up. So as of today I am no longer a patron. To the owner: this is how you lose customers, treating them this way. People go to restaurants to spend their money, not for free. So stop acting like it's a handout. Truth be told I always get to-go orders because from Patron because the restaurant smells of old liquor, the rug is dirty, and super outdated, the tables are greasy, they try to pack people in, it's uncomfortable. Don't believe me! Go see for your self! the other reviews about clean is NOT accurate! The severity of their rudeness today took away any desire for the only plate we would purchase which in the last two years went from $13 to $18 the fajita quesadilla. Plenty of other places that make better food. If you were planning on being busy should've had more people on staff. The least you could've done is be a professional and provide good customer service, not act like I was asking for free food. Poor Management and Poor Customer...
