Review for Rusty’s, Holyoke, MA
On our last day in Holyoke, MA, we wanted to enjoy a nice meal within the local community. After some morning research, we decided on Rusty’s, and I’m happy to say it didn’t disappoint.
We arrived around 11 AM, and the place was packed—a great sign of its popularity. However, the waiting area was quite small, which made it a bit challenging for our group of six. We ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes to be seated.
As for the food, there were a couple of small hiccups. My steak was cooked rare instead of the medium-rare I ordered and lacked seasoning. Additionally, my wife wasn’t a fan of the texture of the pancakes, though I personally enjoyed them. On a brighter note, the toast was absolutely delicious! Aside from these minor issues, everything else was fantastic. From what I recall, we ordered the Waffle & Eggs, Steak & Eggs, Hungry Fireman, The Classic Plate, Meat Lover’s Omelet, and Red Sox Home Run.
The highlight of our experience was the exceptional service from our waitress, Debbie. She was incredibly sweet and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Her kindness truly elevated our visit.
Overall, Rusty’s is worth a visit, and I’ll definitely be back. Next time, I’ll make sure to ask for Ms. Debbie to ensure another...
Read moreI just moved to Holyoke and on one of our exhausting moving days we put "breakfast in Holyoke" into Google and lo and behold Susan's was the first hit. Even better, it was literally right around the corner form our new home. So we dragged ourselves there and plopped ourselves down to be treated with a delicious, filling breakfast. I got the Irish Benedict and a side of hash browns and my boyfriend got a breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel with bacon, egg, and monteray/jack cheese (his breakfast joint stand-by). The Benedict was HUGE and delicious. I was so full I did not need the side of has browns. My bf loved his sandwich. Coffee was delicious. I'm so sick of every breakfast place in the area brewing Pierce's Brothers - gross! Anyhow, we've been back maybe 5-6 times now and have enjoyed literally every item tried. The bf sticks with his sandwich, but I've tried a Mexican Benedict, and their 1-2-1-2 punch (or something like that) it has kielbasa, grilled pretzel roll (so good!) pierogies and an egg. Best part of all is this place is super affordable, which is good because it's going to be dangerous living so close to such a...
Read moreNo complaints... ONLY COMPLIMENTS!!!! Rusty's is a family operated. The breakfast and Lunch menu offer anything you would want for a meal or a snack. Unbelievable Customer Service is always super great!! The food is always on point, Fresh, Hot , even when ordering to go. Plenty of room to sit inside and enjoy a meal as well. On street parking can be very limited. But, No worries because they have a large parking lot behind the building , never any issues with parking in the back. Your car will be safe. My opinion, Best Breakfast in the area... Whenever I'm in the area I try to stop in and at least get a breakfast sandwich to go., which you can order in almost any type of Bum , Toast , English muffin.. Pancakes and Waffles are out of this world. Great Job!! Keep up the great...
