They were incredibly rude to my partner when he came in to pick up our order tonight. No one was present when he entered the restaurant, just our order sitting on it's own. He called out for someone, but no one came. He took the food and left. As he's turning into our subdivision, he gets a frantic call from Ichiban accusing him of stealing. He explained he already paid online and they kept yelling over him "you didn't pay! You didn't pay!" He offered to pay over the phone but they demanded he drive back and pay in person. He was nice and went back. He shows his payment confirmation on his phone, and yet they demanded he pay a second time. He paid a second time, but was upset at this point, and told them we are disputing any double charges. We usually don't leave poor reviews lest we be labeled a bunch of "Karens". But they handled the situation incredibly poorly and were in the wrong to leave the restaurant unattended, then have the nerve to accuse us of stealing. We will be sticking with Kitaro in Lemont for sushi and the Orient...

Ichiban Ramen is hands down one of the best spots in Homer Glen! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and modern. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home.

The ramen is absolutely phenomenal – rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and toppings that are fresh and generous. Every bowl tastes like it’s made with care and passion. The pork belly is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the spicy miso ramen has just the right kick without being overpowering.

Beyond ramen, the appetizers and sushi are also top-notch. The gyoza and takoyaki are must-tries, and their rolls are always fresh and beautifully presented.

It’s rare to find a place that nails both quality and consistency, but Ichiban Ramen does it every single time. If you’re a ramen lover (or just love amazing food), this is definitely the spot to check out in Homer Glen....

I've eaten ramen in many states... This is one of the most mediocre places I've ever been to. The woman was very sweet, but the restaurant is so slow. Our takeout order was supposed to be ready in 15-17 minutes and it still wasn't ready when I got there about 26 minutes later. There were 2 ladies at a table who had to switch their order to takeout because it was talking so long... Their egg is so old that it's shriveled and discolored. The kamaboko (the pretty little fish cake) is almost rubbery and also dried out. Personally, I find it odd that they put corn in the ramen, as a filler obviously, but okay.. the pork was more fat than meat. The broth, which is the most important part of the ramen, tasted like salt, and it was thick at the bottom of the broth when I poured it. Extremely unimpressive.. I'm sorry guys, but I'm honest with my reviews, and while it was edible it wasn't...

Awesome in every way :) I came here with 4 of my friends after my cousin recommended me this place. - the service was great, the manager came out and was very friendly and chatted with us a little bit. - The food was immaculate. I came with some college friends, and we all had different budgets, but there is a good range of options too if you're on a budget, or if you want to splurge you'll definitely get your money's worth. The place has more than just Ramen, including poke-bowls, sushi, rice bowls, and much more, so there's a lot of options. You can tell everything is made to order. I got the Hawaiian Poke-Bowl with Miso soup, and one of my friends got the Bento Box B option. We ate it all; pictures attached :). - the dining room is nice, albeit quaint, but clean. Also, they have an open kitchen, which is a nice touch. Overall, would go again, very happy.
