My experience was extremely unsettling. There were 3 of us and we all got a plate no extras and ordered some fried pork skins and 2 drinks and a peanut butter bar, they told me $98.87. I was astonished because this is a walk thru cafeteria type food place. $98.87 where??? When I asked please explain what I just ordered and what is the cost of everything. All of a sudden as we’re going thru it they are over charging me for absolutely everything. Charging me double the price for a plate, they weighed it instead of selling me the price of a plate like they did customers before me and after me. I got 3 plates white rice beans and pernil, NO EXTRAS, none, then 1 peanut butter bar they charged me $10 instead of the $3 they said it was. My fried pork skins had $14.48 on the box but on the receipt it was $20. There’s no communication at all either so because I was refusing to pay that they corrected it and it went down to $68 now. We’ve dropped $30 all because I asked what’s the price break down for everything and when I was using my calculator it was not coming no where close to $98.

$68 still doesn’t sound right but there’s no form of communication so guess I have no option...

Okay- let first start off by saying this place is the B-O-M-B!!! It truly is a hidden gem in a jungle where the majority of Cuban restaurants suck by either giving you small portions of bland ā€œold folks homeā€ food.

This place has amazing food options, the give out generous portions at an unbeatable price- sure you get tons of rice and beans but the point is to leave stuffed full when your starving.

Oxtail was good for the price! Better than what we thought it was gonna be. Tamales are to die for, these bad boys are stuffed with jamon! The chicken soup is really good-

The Yuca is so soft and mashed that its perhaps the best in Miami!

The service is quick, and friendly- know what you want don’t ask 5000 questions on a $3.99 special lol.

Its an express style place, its really outdoor seating- there are high powered ceiling fans and there weren’t any pesky insects bothering us.

I would recommend earlier the better, try not coming an hour or two before closing/as the food choices are what they are.

Would...

I used to get juioce form here when it was Palacio De Los Jugos, but never ate their food because it didn't look good. Yesterday I was in the neighborhood early and decided to pop in a for a fresh squeezed orange juice and saw it is now Soriano Brothers. WOW!!!! All of the food in here looked and smelled AMAZING. I ordered their breakfast special for 2.99 with 2 eggs, coffee, bread, and an insane amount of bacon (5 or 6 strips!). The BEST Cuban style breakfast I have ever had. There was a little sign about the "Bacalao fritters for 2.50" so I figured I'd give them a whirl. They taste SOOOOOOO good and are perfectly seasoned. While waiting, I saw a poster on the back wall for their lunch specials which are 3.99. I'm a really picky person when it comes to cleanliness and their kitchen is completely open so you can see how spotless they keep this place. Whoever these Soriano Brothers are, I want to hug them. Their...

Good food and generous portions. Nice covered porch as an eating area. It was pretty hot inside.. Wish they had a written menu with prices on display. The one in Google is outdated because I asked about the Ropa Vieja special and was told that is not accurate. We ordered.what we call dirty rice and beans plus ropa vieja with 1 side (we chose sweet plantains) for 11.99. We also ordered 1 tamale for 2.50 and a 20 oz Coke for 2.25 . The ropa vieja was fantastic; they use a lot of bay leaves for flavor. The tamale was good but not as outstanding. Also got a rum flan (other options are coconut, dulce de leches) for about $3 and a 20 oz mamey milkshake for $6.07. Both were excellent. They do charge a fee for using a credit card that we were not made aware of, that was approximately 4%. I think that should have been disclosed as I would have dug out the cash, but didn't want to slow things down.

This is a Great priced cafeteria with hispanic style food. The eggs were good scrambled with peppers etc. I love cuban coffee, aka coffee con leche. They add sugar and hot milk which is great but I have them cut back on the sugar for me. Their fried specialities are great but I’m not good with the names. Their mashed potatoes stuffed with meat is so good! I also loved their ham stuffed in elongated (? mashed potatoes) and fried as excellent. Their black beans were so good also. Bacon was so crispy and tasty. Their homemade pastries and fresh squeezed juices are worth stopping here by themselves.
