UPDATE: Last Saturday, February 8 between 1:30 and 3:00pm we stopped in for lunch, Vianely was our server. This was our second time dining at La Quebradita. We started off with a Margarita for me and a Modelo Special for my husband. Our meals were two Carne Asada Tacos for me and Combo #5, Three Tacos, with Rice and Beans for my husband.
My $9.00 Margarita was nothing like our previous visit. It tasted terrible, like a bottled Margarita Mix (without any Tequila) that you can get at any local grocery store for less than $10.00.
Tacos were bland and tasteless, the meat was mixed with little bits of onions and cilantro. NO lettuce, NO cheese, NO guacamole, NO sour cream. We asked for sour cream and guacamole for the tacos. We discovered when we got the bill they charged $2.50 for sour cream and $3.50 for guacamole for tiny spit cups!! đ
They got my husbandâs order wrong. He took one bite and realized that all three tacos were Al Pastor. He wanted two Carne Asada, and one Al Pastor Taco. We flagged the server and returned the dish to the kitchen. Few minutes later she came back with the dish AND the taco that my husband tried instead of replacing all three! By the time she came back, the taco was already cold. Who does that?!!! đĄ
Please note pictures attached are from previous visit on 102324. Todayâs meals look nothing like this, meal portions were not as generous as previous visit. Hence, I did take a picture of todayâs bill.
We were very disappointed, this place has gone downhill, prices are up, they nickel and dime you for everything, food quality is subpar and service is bad. We had to get our serverâs attention for everything, she never checked on us to see if we needed anything and they were not busy at all. We asked for the bill and an automatic âTIPâ was added making the amount $53.04. And, as if that wasnât enough there is another TIP section on the receipt, so if youâre not careful youâll end up double tipping! We drove 17-miles from our home, never again. We will not be returning.

Last weekend we stopped by for a late lunch. We ordered Guacamole with Chips for appetizers. Our main dishes consisted of the Steak Fajitas for me, and my husband had the Pozole Soup, (this is an authentic Mexican soup made on weekends only).
This is a quaint and casual âhole in a wallâ kinda place, serving authentic Mexican food. The decor is very basic nothing fancy, displaying Mexican hats on the walls and other artifacts. Outside seating area is available. And there is a drive-thru window. The bathrooms are outside, they were clean and well maintained. There were two stalls so you donât have to wait outside in the hot sun or rain.
Overall good food, drinks, service, and ambience. Prices were reasonable for the food quality and fresh ingredients. We will be back when we are in the area. Highly...
Read moreThe food was pretty good, but the service was terrible. They just didn't care. Bought food for 3 out of 4 of us. No cutlery, so the 3 that had food sat and watched while it went cold. After some time a meal came out that appeared (and as it turned out was) for the 4th person. However, the waitress insisted on taking it to another table (ignoring my signalling that it appeared to be our 4th meal) and spent some time persuading a lady on that table that the food was for her even though the lady seemed adamant she hadn't ordered it. Meanwhile food still going cold on our table and still no cutlery. Eventually the 4th meal was delivered with an apology that the previous waitress had delivered it to the wrong table (nss!). From there on the terrible service continued, no one checking on us, took an age for someone to eventually bring sauces and when we left, all we got was a perfunctory "Sign here". I guess they didn't see us as a repeat customer. They added service to the bill, maybe because they knew they didn't deserve a tip. The only place in our weeks vacation that really disappointed (and the only place that added a service charge as opposed to delivering consistently excellent service for...
Read moreThis restaurant is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. We had a reservation for 7:30, and we receive a call at 7:25 asking us if we were on the way and we said we were there in 10 minutes due to weather. The lady who spoke only Spanish said that was fine and that the table was ready. We get there and they tell us they didnât hold our table. When we spoke to the manager, who didnât listen to a single word we said, she kept explaining she had to bring people in but didnât address why she said she had the employee call us and tell us it was fine if we still arrived at the restaurant. IN THE RAIN. Donât come to this place AT ALL, they are extremely unprofessional and they GAVE SO MUCH ATTITUDE, I didnât even want to stay there a single minute longer. Very distasteful and I hope people take this as a warning.
UPDATE: Just a word since I saw the owner responded. I was told the wait was 30-45 minutes by the check in make with glasses. I didnât catch his name. But I was not told it would be a 15 min wait for my party. I was only late by MAYBE 5-10 minutes TOPS. And again, I was not told about this when I called the restaurant or I would have gone somewhere else. Terrible service by your staff who deserve...
