Homewood Gourmet is one of my go-tos for a workday lunch or catering. Everything from sandwiches to salads to soups tastes great and is as fresh as they promise — you won't find any skimping on ingredients, quantity or flavor.
The staff is always attentive and kind, and the food is perfectly packaged for curbside service. (Even before the pandemic, I'd get it to go and eat it at Homewood Park.)

Though it says dine in is available, it’s a store-front restaurant with very sparse seating that seems to be crammed into a storage space. There are two outdoor tables, each with two chairs, so doesn’t work for our family of five. Food was okay but the turkey and cranberry wrap I had was sparse and not the gourmet wrap I was expecting. Read moreI can’t quite explain it, but I didn’t feel very welcome here and I rarely get that feeling. Found it just looking for somewhere nearby with chicken salad. The chix salad sandwich was good & bow tie pasta salad fresh, if not exactly seasoned. But back to feeling welcome - the guys at the register did not crack A SMILE at any point.
