we came to this Denny’s on saturday night (june 28) at around 11 pm and the short waiter/host with the scraggly mustache and patchy Guy Fieri beard and the older guy with the sweaty/greasy wannabe baby mohawk (idk their names) were disgustingly racist and rude. they were extremely aggressive and unwelcoming for absolutely no reason. from the second we walked in, patchy beard started literally shouting at us from across the restaurant and making a scene saying that we had to sit at the waiting area and wait for him to come and seat us, which is a reasonable request so we went to the waiting area, but there was absolutely no need to shout. where we live most restaurants don’t require customers to wait for a host to seat them and there was no host at the front of the restaurant and we had been waiting for a while and no one came to take us to our table so we just assumed that we could seat ourselves. it was a simple misunderstanding but the way patchy beard dealt with it was very rude and highly unprofessional and the shouting was completely unwarranted. regardless, the restaurant was practically empty and there were many empty tables and there was no wait time, but instead of patchy beard simply directly walking us to our table, we sat in the waiting area and waited for a literal second then patchy beard said “okay now we can go to your table”. after patchy beard walked us to our table we noticed that it was dirty so we said “oh this table is dirty” but patchy beard started yelling “well this isn’t the right table then, is it? what table do u want?” then walked over to another table and yelled “they’re all dirty” we told him we wanted our original table but since they were all dirty we asked if ours could be cleaned but patchy beard just threw the menus onto another table and stormed off, which is when sweaty mohawk came to clean our table. as sweaty mohawk was wiping our table he literally said “why do YOU people always choose the dirtiest tables” and scoffed. referring to people of color as “you people” in 2025 is unacceptable. it was immediately obvious from the way he said it that he was being racist towards us. also, according to patchy beard, all the tables were dirty, so how were we “picking” a dirty table? since patchy beard threw our menus onto another table, we asked sweaty mohawk for the menus who said “oh i’ll give you your menus” in a sassy tone, trying to make it seem like we were asking for a lot when we were simply asking for menus as ours were thrown onto another table and he was standing right next to the menus so he could’ve easily handed them to us. he took the menus off of the other table and just walked off leaving us without any menus. he tossed the menus onto our table a couple minutes later and 2 or 3 minutes after that, he came to take our order and, again, rudely tossed our cutlery onto the table. we told him very nicely that we needed a bit more time to decide (he gave us literally no time to even look at the menus), he whistled and did a weird gesture with his hand, spinning his finger next to his head. i’m not even sure what he meant by the gesture but he was clearly being rude. Denny’s should hire proper waitstaff that aren’t just middle aged racists going through a midlife crisis and taking it out on paying customers. we always make sure to respect waitstaff and be patient with them, we even initially laughed off all of their rudeness and continued to speak to them with respect, but the rudeness and racism continued to progress. it was so disgustingly rude and shocking for absolutely no reason that we eventually had to leave. power tripping at a Denny’s is absolutely insane and sad lol. i’ve never seen two “men” with such fragile egos and pathetic behavior, all this over us walking to see if there was a booth available? what a disgusting overreaction. and even if patchy beard had an issue with us for whatever stupid reason, what does sweaty mohawk have to do with that? middle aged “men” acting like petty...
Read moreI had just finished work, I was hungry and tired. I ordered online while sitting in the restaurant then waited outside listening to music. Unexpectedly, my name was called out as one of Dennys' Team Members had come outside and read my order to me and handed it to me! I looked back at the online tracker and it was ready 10min ahead of schedule! I deliver Food with Doordash and have P/U from that Dennys many times and I was highly satisfied that my order was ready very quickly! I held no expectations and was open to a 25min+ wait...there was no one in the restaurant but b4 I ordered, 3 Delivery Drivers were waiting when I arrived and received their Orders very quickly, almost all at once.
I say this to those that are reading:
Be Mindful when dining out. Many if not almost all these restaurants may be understaffed, have numerous orders, and most of all...they are Human Beings with a Soul, just as we Diners. To have your Food made and brought to you, free of dirt, on clean dishes, hot(or cold) and cooked thoroughly...this is a Service that We take for granted. Think about it:
You are entrusting someone that you do not know to prepare something for you that you willingly put inside of you to nourish your Body. Have compassion and be grateful for your Meal. Working in a Kitchen is hard work. Bussing tables which is really cleaning up other people's mess, is HARD WORK!
TIP the restaurant on your bill. Not just Dennys on Lewars,...wherever and whenever you dine out, pickup To-Go or order Delivery. We are the 99% that hold up The Pyramid that keeps the 0.1% at the top of the Pyramid, at The Top of The Pyramid!
It is We that make the Sun chase the Moon. Yes, WE command these things Into Being. It is not the flutter of a butterflys' wings but We Human Beings that effectively keep Existence existing!
....and it all begins with Knowing Ones Self. Loving Ones Self and having Compassion for Ones Self.
As you go about your Night and Day across this Plane, every Human Being that you See, is no better than You nor are You better than They. There is no one Earth like You, Me as well as EE. We are Unique Beings. However many of Us on Terra Firma, We are ALL similar but individually different. Everyone that you have ever met, will meet and meet daily...there is no one like them on this Earth and never has been for 10,000 Years! This statement includes Your Self, too!
When We can See the Perfection of Others, Know that is L.O.V.E. of Ones Self that is Within.
L.ight O.f V.ibrational E.nergy is Within All Human Beings, We call it Our Soul. E.nergetic V.ibrations O.f L.ife is what We Do everyday and what Everyone Sees of the Other but cannot See Ones Own light that is Life. It is NOT EVIL... It is EVOL. As in Evolve, Grow, Mature, Learn.. Cultivate and Nurture L.O.V.E of Self Within, as correct for You, you will grow as the Energetic Vibrations Of Life (E.V.O.L.)is seen by EE as Our natural evolution is NOT from some APES or Monkeys...🤣 We Evolve as a Speci whenever We Create new Human Beings.
That is the natural Evolution of Humans. Love Your Self First. You cannot Love anyone nor anything Without, when You haven't Love Within.
Eating a Meal prepared by a Stranger is One action of Trust. Trust comes from Ones Self Within and is a seed that may grow to cultivate Self Love.
Gratitudes for All and to All...
Read moreI would like to start out by saying it’s new years at 1am. I’m not expecting the fastest most wonderful service in the world, Denny’s is the only place open and it’s slammed.
My two brothers and I waited 30 minutes for a table and once sat r greeted by a server who says “It’s busy. Foods gonna take awhile. Are you ready to order?”. (Never told us his name but he’s a roughly 30 year old man with spiky hair and a gotee) I am a server myself and have had to deal with the bustle but come on. We order our food wait 10 minutes for drinks and then the guy speeds off. I have now realized we are going to be waiting a long time and would rather not eat. It’s late and I don’t feel good. I flag the server down immediately and ask if I can cancel my omelet if it the kitchen hasn’t already started on it. He never directly says no and after 3 times of him saying he put the order in and me asking if he can ask the kitchen not to make it he shuffles away with finger guns saying “so I’m not gonna cancel it yeah?” as if it’s my idea to keep this item I do not want. We then wait 45 minutes for food. (Not exaggerating we sat down at 1:45 and didn’t get food until 2:30) I ask the host if we can get it to go because we haven’t seen our server in 30 minutes and she says she’ll send him over. (I normally wouldn’t ask a host but this restaurant was obviously understaffed and I assume our server was busy with other tables. He then magically appears and tells us our food should be up next. He then proceeds to bring my brothers food and told me that mine was going to take a bit longer. After my brothers have finished eating he brings me my omelet and I ask for a box. He then immediately ushers my brother to pay. We have been sitting next to the register this whole time and we are the first table he has assisted to pay this entire time. I feel like this guy was busy and didn’t feel like putting in the effort to get this item taken off the check knowing he could and then made sure he was the one that checked us out because I sure as hell would have complained about it otherwise. I have been a server for 4 years and I understand sometimes your really really busy like tonight but that’s not an excuse to just not do part of your job which then results in us paying more than we wanted to and staying longer. We would have happily tipped the guy 30% for the holiday if only he could have brought my brothers orders to go and...
