I’ve tried this place multiple times, and while the food is really good, there are several things that made me uncomfortable enough to leave this review as a business owner and paying customer. Red flag #1: Almost all reviews are in Korean, and they mention free items for review events—but I didn’t see these offered to all customers. It felt very exclusive. Red flag #2: When I walked in, the staff and customers were almost entirely from a single group. It felt off and made the environment less welcoming. Red flag #3: The food was good, but I saw a server being embarrassed or scolded by what seemed to be a manager in front of customers. Super uncomfortable to watch! At one point, I declined help with my food, but the manager insisted and had the server assist anyway. Customer preferences should be respected, and staff guidance should happen privately. Red flag #4: Please keep all customers in mind instead of catering only to a small segment. Making everyone feel welcome would make the restaurant a much better experience. Overall, the food is great, but these issues really stood out and affected my experience. I hope the owner considers this feedback—it could make a...
Read moreThis is my second time back since they opened a few weeks ago (the snow crab legs were in my dreams). My boyfriend and I brought a friend this time, and we split a combo with a fried shrimp basket. I love that they offer so many options! We got the garlic fries with our basket and they even let us swap out some of the combo items for extra shrimp! I can’t even describe how good all the flavors were, even the fries were sautéed with fresh garlic that just melted in your mouth. I will say, the fried shrimp could’ve used a little more flavor on its own but it was nothing a quick dip in the pool of seafood couldn’t fix for us. I highly recommend the collab sauce for seafood (if you really like spice, I would go up one). We got medium spice this time and it was perfecttt. The staff is so friendly and accommodating too, it really makes the experience so much more enjoyable. Will be back as soon...
Read moreThis 4.9-star seafood restaurant was honestly very disappointing. I ordered the snow crab set, but the shrimp was not fresh at all. The staff recommended upgrading to the “head shrimp” for an extra $5, and we also added a $30 order of the so-called local Hawaiian shrimp. Unfortunately, when the dishes came out, both the crab and shrimp were not fresh. The shrimp had black heads and edges, and the snow crab legs were watery and mushy instead of firm and fresh. For a place with such high ratings, the quality really didn’t match the reviews. Very overrated and not worth it 👎. I really don't recommend this kind of seafood restaurant that...
