One of historically well-known and currently popular Episcopalian Churches located In the heart of downtown Honolulu. The Hawaiian Kings and Queens were initially highly instrumental in it founding and architectural style. Queen Emma in particular called for Honolulu cathedral to be modeled after the Cathedral in Lyon, France. The massive church structure was then built instages.

Today, the Cathedral has church services at 8:00M and 11:00AM. The early service is a blend of the Hawaiian language and English speaking portions.

The Cathedral boasts 8 tower change ringing bells that were a redundant set in England. Experienced ringers are always welcome. The Aeolian Skinner pipe organ's 133 ranks are approximately one third Walker digital which are seamlessly integrated into the sound. Services have varied over the years anywhere from traditional "middle of the road" Episcopal to fairly high church with many chanted prayers. The church has an excellent choir which sings classic choral literature. The church bulletins are informative and will guide you through the services.
