We came to this place with some degree of trepidation, after traversing a maze of connecting elevators that confused me more than my girlfriend. For ex. You take one elevator to get to the parking you take another elevator to get to the pool on the 11th floor you take another elevator to get to your actual room. You take another elevator to get to the frontdesk. Once we arrived at our room on the 39th floor and opened the door, we found a rather large apt dwelling with floor to ceiling windows in both the living room and the bedroom, overlooking a partial Hawaiian cityscape with the Pacific ocean in the background. The apartment came equipped with central air, a full kitchen with a plethora of modern amenities, closets stacked with everything from towels to extra bedsheets and blankets, an iron and ironing board for your clothes,a washer and dryer, and even a coffee machine and tea kettle depending on your preference. Even green tea bags. The apt, and I call it that because that's what it is, is way too large to simply call a room. This place is sadly underrated. The amenities are new, and the Apts are freshly renovated. The kitchen comes complete with a modern electric stove and oven, a toaster,a microwave, I mean, I could drone on and on. Two flat screen tvs, both in the living room and the bedroom. The water pressure in the shower is spot on. The hot water, for us, was and is, about as instantaneous as it gets. If the place were lousy, I would have given it a shitty review. It did not disappoint. I gave it what I feel is the review it deserves that's why I'm giving it five stars. One other thing I'd like to mention. The neighborhood is fine. They're way more homeless people we saw in San Diego when we stayed at the Wyndham there. The place is surrounded by modern shops and restaurants and Gift Stores and modern high rises. I think you'd have to be highly xenophobic to call this area crime-ridden or scary. It's not. It's simply touristy. The moral of the story here, Never solely judge a book by a...
Read moreActually had an ok experience here. Had a room with a big window over looking the city. However, pray that you don't leave anything behind.
This is one of the worst, slow, and possibly malicious customer service i have ever had to experience.
The phone number listed in the google isn't even to the direct line with the front desk you are staying. It's like a call center. And all questions, help, and service you may have will ALWAYS be taken "as a message" to be passed to....actually, i don't know if it even gets passed because the questions and concers i have had never got addressed.
And even when i did get a direct line to the front disk, phone isn't operational during their listed hours of operation. AND IF IT IS, no one will pick up. I had to call 30 times in a row before someone picked up.
And the kiicker? I still didn't get my issue resolved. i addressed my problem directly and they never got back to me.
If you want a roof over your head during your stay, there will be one. but they won't be there if that roof has holes.
Also, the area is in the business district of honolulu and there are a lot of homeless people...
Read moreFirst of all, beware this isn't a hotel it's an airbnb hosted in a business building. The area has quite a few homeless people around and isn't very walk-friendly. The "suite" looks absolutely nothing like the photos, and was actually just a tiny living room/kitchen with no windows, a small bathroom, and a bedroom that was surprisingly nicer than the rest of the place. The building is confusing, eerie, and you have to take two different sets of elevators to get to the suite and upon arriving the door code wasn't even correct and locked us out so we had to have someone help us. Upon seeing that the suite looked extremely different compared to the photos, we attempted to cancel our reservation and were denied a refund. Even then, we still did not want to stay so we went to drop off our keys and parking stuff in the office and while leaving the parking garage, the clerk said we needed the parking validation (that they told us to return to the office before leaving) to leave and charged us since we didn't have it. Terrible place to stay and...
