Pulled in an ordered a happy meal and two plain double quarter pounders with cheese (our teenager wont touch them if they have any toppings). They asked us to pull aside into one of those "waiting for your food" spaces. Ten minutes passed and nothing, even though my wife and I noticed a couple of cars in the other designated waiting spot come and go. At twenty minutes I called them and was told that they didnt realize I was waiting for anything. So... they knew I was there but hadnt checked if I needed something. Eventually they brought me a bag and told me it was the two burgers. It was one chicken sandwich. I got the person's attention before they went back inside and he took away the wrong item. Eventually they brought out another bag and of course we checked it and found one double quarter pounder and a single quarter pounder, thankfully they were plain at least. We thought about going back in but we were going on 30-35 minutes since we first pulled in and decided it wasnt worth it. Close enough I guess. I am a Hood River local and, while I dont expect exceptional service from a McD's, this was very poor service even by their standards. Read moreSo I've ranked the food a five star though as I do so I realize it really shouldn't be a five star it's fast food and junk. However since fast food is what I just said and we all know it in this case it was as expected so five stars would be right. However, the service was found to be lacking. When the customer makes an order stating what they want and the servicer accuses the customer of having said something wrong and blaming the customer for it being not correct there's an issue. I have a recording of the words I spoke and the words they spoke on my dash cam confirming I was not wrong nor did I say the wrong words. When I brought this to the manager's attention the atmosphere or response was a bit lacking. I simply wanted the manager to help educate their employee on proper customer service communication. You don't blame someone else you accept it humbly even if you believe you weren't wrong. That is customer service. If I get a reply with some form of contact other than phone so that I can provide the audio from the dash cam I will do so otherwise the rating...

Spent almost 50$ and not a single menu item was correct had to reqest things that where already placed as an order all the food came with tags saying no lettuce and onion and everything i orderd had extra of both the reson for requesting theese items to not have them is due to a food alergy and i assumed as i made it very clear and the items where marked with a tag stating how the food should be went ahead and served it now 3 ppl have major alergic reactions! Theese ppl are so carless they make more then people who actualy wrk every time iv gone here there standing around looking lost or on there phones this place could kill somoneone with there carelessness! Absolutly will never return mind u this is the same night crew stupidity at its finest! Im a cook at a resturant and have never almost killed someone when a food alergey is made as clear as i made it it should have been taken seriously end of story!
