Quite possibly the worst Starbucks I have visited in years.
Cleanliness: The restroom was filthy with urine on the floor and, dirt in the corners and dust on the paper towels dispenser.
Customer Service: A gentleman who cannot be named due to his badge being illegible (started with a Q I think) took a call and walked away from the line of people waiting to order so he could speak to the person on the phone about their schedule leaving us waiting. The drive thru employee had to run over and try to help us when she saw he was not going to acknowledge the customers. She had to try to deal with the drive thru customers and the customers in line. When he was done and came back up it was in the middle of my transaction and he did not apologize for the wait or anything and instead was arguing over the headset with the woman who just helped him. Fully unprofessional and lacking for a company like this.
Edit The drink I ordered was made by the woman running back and forth from the register and the drive thru and she did an amazing job. If it wasn't for her I would have walked out...
Read moreasked for a blonde roast and a tn black and white mocha, they said sure, they started my other drink, and helped the rest of the line, my wife's drink got done so I took it out to her and came back in, and had to ask for them to start my coffee please, they did start the drip but it kept stopping and they did not add more water until I asked for them to please focus on my coffee only to be met with hostility and offer of my money back, I declined and just asked again for my drip. My wife's drink was out at 11:25 from her sticker and I didn't get my drip til 11:45. She was a barista and shift manager for this company for 7 years and was appalled at the service, or lack there of. Pour over coffee doesn't take 20 min. and you don't just offer money back with an attitude. it's a people service...
Read moreMy husband and I are long time Starbucks Coffee customers, but we wanted to address this particular location. Every weekend, we go skiing and on our way we love to grab a Starbucks on the way up the mountain. However, we are always surprised by how rude the customer service is at the Hood River location. For example, long sighs and rolled eyes if we request a drink modification or snarky comments if we ask a question about the menu. It’s come to a point where we almost just want to skip our visit altogether so we don’t have an unpleasant interaction. I also noticed that they have a difficult time keeping this location clean so instead of enjoying our coffee in the store we just...
