IF YOU GO TO BEEF O BRADEYS IN HOOVER CHECK YOUR CARD Carefully we went today mothers day 5 11 25 The gimmick was mom's eat free. We got home and realized the server did not give the discount. I had pics of the receipt. I called. The manager took the check number and advised what our total was including our 15.00 tip. The problem is we didn't tip 15.00 on our card. We tipped in cash. The server went back and added the tip on our card without approval. The manager assured me the bill would be adjusted to 16.00 and she would send me a receipt for that amount. When she did send the receipt it was for 31.61 not 16.00. I called back. She said the server had not been tipped in cash and we had been given a receipt for the correct amount after the mothers day promo was applied. I questioned her ethics and math skills. She put me on hold to reach out to the district manager and finally came back and said the charge was now only 16.00. She sent a second receipt. Moral of the story is take pics of your credit card receipts and keep them until your card clears the charge. Also know your law. WHAT occurred falls under unlawful use of a credit card.

Very convenient location to many local apartments and neighborhoods. Bar is a little small but they do have some high top tables near it that people spill over into. Evening bar/waitstaff are great and friendly. Not always the same way at lunchtime on weekdays. This is not a "true" sports bar; they will turn off an NBA game 7 playoff or a US Open match if an old timer comes in and wants to change it to the news... then he proceeds to not even watch it. I've seen it happen. Wings are OK, but are frequently overcooked and are kind of spendy for this area. They don't exactly cook burgers to order even though they say they do. You aren't getting it cooked pink, medium, or medium rare or anything. Hockey puck or medium well are about your only options. Perhaps the worst Reuben sandwich in town. It's just bad. Funnel fries dessert is great when not overcooked. They have run some nice limited time specials, and they do have some good draft beer deals. They offer a VERY good military discount. But there's just too many better options based on atmosphere, quality, and price in the...

Normally You have a competent staff at this location. My husband decided to go into beef O'Brady's yesterday. Sat at the bar, only 3 other customers there. He ordered a beer and a water. He got a beer, no water. Asked for a menu. 15 minutes later still waiting for the menu. Asks for a menu again. 10 minutes later he gets one. He ordered fish and chips and a side salad while he's finishing his fish and chips. She brings out the side salad he said oops. I forgot about this. He told her he was finished and didn't want it.He pays and tries to leave. She comes back to him and tells him that she rang up the other customers coupon on his ticket by mistake that she has a charge of another $11. He gives her his card while he's waiting. He hears her chatting with the other two bar customers telling them she's so slow. If she was so slow why couldn't she get a drink order, a meal and a bar tab right? This bartender's name was Riley. If I come in there again and she's working I'm leaving. If I want bar food with terrible service, I can always go to...
