i visited on Friday the 13th for the discount and paid $40 to get my septum pierced crooked. over the past two weeks, i tried telling myself it was because of my deviation in my nose. however, recently i’ve accepted the reality that it’s because it was pierced crooked. my septum is not deviated where the needle went through. A person at the desk said they could pierce me with something small since i have a “small nose” as they put it. When i went back, i saw the jewelry size and told the piercer what the person at the desk told me and KT Lee (the piercer) told me they had to pierce me with a 10mm width 14 gauge. it’s just straight up pierced crooked and from my right and front profile, it’s pretty obvious. (ESPECIALLY my right profile.) with that huge thing in my nose it was extremely obvious that it was crooked but even after downsizing it’s very noticeable. (i know i shouldn’t downsize right after but i couldn’t stand walking around looking that ridiculous.) that’s $40 out of my pocket i paid for a shitty piercing job. i could tell the piercer got nervous when i asked if the piercing was crooked. they told me it was because of my deviation and so i believed that. i regret not going with my gut. also, when i went in the people at the desk only asked for my ID and didn’t make me sign anything which i thought was odd. before this piercing, i had 9 and also have a couple of tattoos. every tattoo/piercing shop i’ve been to has made my sign papers and asked me important things such as “do you have HIV” yada yada. you know, things that should be asked in an environment where needles are present. that consent form asking about disease is important to help protect the artist and ensure the client is not at higher risks of complications. i’m not sure if they typically never ensure this safety measure or didn’t to speed things up on a busy day. either way, it’s completely unprofessional. when i got my ID back, i even asked, “do i need to sign anything?” to which they said no. i really wish i had walked out after that...

I cannot recommend Jordan enough, her artwork and skills are stunning and made getting my first tattoo an absolute treat. I will definitely be...
