I don't know what the heck ( I can't use the verb I want to) happened between last Sunday and this Saturday ( today) I couldn't wait to write this review my cousin recommended this restaurant myself and 2 bestie's went last Sunday today is Saturday October 20 2024 and last Sunday omgggggggggh the food was incredible absolutely amazing we couldn't stop raving I had the smothered pork chops OMG cooked to perfection so tender and juicy and flavorful just melted in your mouth covered in a delicious brown gravy and onions now on the menu it plainly says served with mashed potatoes I didn't get but I didn't care because the pcs were aaaamazzingggg I had my other 2 sides ( huge portion too) with fries green tomatoes and dressing ( was sweet but good I prefer sage! I couldn't finish it was so good I wanted to but couldn't, my friend had smothered fried chicken livers ( he raved about them ( he never does that!) his wife had chicken fried steak same loved it we couldn't wait to go back so excited to go back to and absolutely beyond horrible it was like a totally different restaurant I ordered the same smothered PCs and my friend got ckn livers again like before his wife wanted to try my PCs from before because they looked so good and my raving and she actually had a bite of mine before.....they brought out our food and I was like wt!!!!!::::®©°„^ā¢ā is this?????? She said smothered pork chops I said no it most certainly is not it looked like soup kitchen food from a bad low budget movie and not even 1/4 the size and just awful looking it was some kind of chopped pork with cubed potatoes a couple of onion slices in a nasty looking gravy and the taste was WORSE like it was sour or something, his chicken livers looked nothing like before either my green tomatoes were over cooked and hard mashed potato was bland with no taste at All so I asked for manager ( B was so hungry she ate her chopped whatever it was Wed been busy and couldn't wait to get there what a let down ) he said he would take it and I could order something else I ordered the seafood sampler 15 minutes later out it came blackened fish a few shrimp and salmon pattie with squash mix veggies I took one bite of squash not throughly cooked at all I didn't even look at the waitress I said can I get a to go box I had to get out of there before I exploded beside my friends had finished already I paid the bill by the time we made it to truck my friend was already throwing up the so called pork chops ( not) and proceeded to for the next hour or so!!!! I was like I told you it tasted funny besides the fact it wasn't a pork chop to begin with like we ordered I knew it was bad whatever it was supposed to be!!!!! So if you want to risk it go ahead but I'll never go back so be warned you better remember your entering at your own risk kinda like spin the wheel and hope it's a good day otherwise you'll need a puke bag or some really good luck me I say avoid it all together it's like playing with Jekyll and Hyde and pray you don't end up in ER with food poisoning beware y'all all know my reviews I rarely ever give a bad review so y'all know for me to write this it was...

The son eventually convinced her to try the restaurant and so at long last she gets the chance and wanted me to come along. I was reluctant but went anyway cos she made such a case to wanna try it today instead of eating lunch at the Galleria food court after such an arduous shopping errand (she hates live shopping).
We ordered the fried chicken livers (hopefully, having been recently searching for decent fried chicken liver) but they were overcooked and for me, inedible after the first bite. The helpful server took the dish and let me make another selection (the meatloaf with salsa all over it) in replacement but my mate kept trying to force feed herself her own order of livers until she also quit after a few more. The replacement plate was also inedible and tepid, as it came with grits and the cheese on top never melted to begin with.
I kindly asked for the manager to come assess the problem and they immediately started speaking down to us, accusing us of āwasting foodā and trying to get free food from them even though I stopped after the first bite and sent it back as opposed to asking for it for free and getting it made to-go.
He proceeds to tell us that weāll be charged for all of it and to never come there again. Then, he goes on to announce that he should call the police because I told him I didn't appreciate his treatment and unfair assessment instead of allowing him to loud-talk us unchallenged as though we came in there with our pockets turned inside out.
She was actually taking ME out to lunch, and was trying help a growing local business but ended up being insulted, embarrassed, and charged for 2 1/2 plates of food we didnāt even eat nor wanted to take. Then went on to insult our intelligence by insisting that it was served hot and that the cheese was unmelted because it was fresh, which made absolutely no sense at all. We were sitting right by the kitchen and hadnāt gone anywhere the entire visit, so I donāt see how that was true that āit was served hotā, but whatever.
We gave the waitress a cash tip cos NONE of this was her fault. I donāt want and never asked for anything for free, but the manager on duty made zero attempt to āmake it rightā as replied in one of the other negative customer reviews. Not by any means; not a discount, not charging only 1 of 3 plates. Not half. Nothing but attitude.
I actually ATE lunch at McDās immediately afterward and it ultimately took a whole afternoon to shake off all the managerās bad vibes. Thanks, Daleās; weāll be shouting your praises for...

We came with a large group of seniors, called earlier this week to make reservations at 5 for 18 , sense were older we eat early, they said they could accommodate us. I arrived at 4:30 and no one was at the hostess desk. But that was ok we had reservations. The rest of our party showed up , at 4:55 , still no hostess. Lobby was full with our 18. Saw others come to the door and turn around and leave.hostess showed up about 5:05 and told us they were cleaning up back room for us , ok. So about 5:15 we noticed they were cleaning some tables in main room for us , said the back room was booked, and that would have been fine if they hadn't lied about it . Finally seated at 5:35 broken up in 2 groups. By now everyone knew what they wanted, had a board of specials in the lobby with ribs and chicken, when I ordered was told by waitress that was lunch only , ok so I settled for fish and chips ,wanted baked potatoe was told they aren't ready. We were served salads with forks in it ,but if you got no salad you were out of luck on silverware and no napkins. A member of our party had to get us napkins and silverware from surrounding tables.my salad came out with wrong dressing, told waitress , she apologized and sad she'd bring it right out , so I waited 15 min. Hostess came by and I ask her then the waitress came out with my dressing , by then the main course was out. Finished my salad and ate my fish . Food was good as always. Talked to another member at the other table and he had ribs and chicken (that I was told wasn't available. Several members of our party ordered deserts and never got them , finally gave up and done without.
