I usually really like Freddy's, but this visit was poor. I placed an order in the Freddy's app and parked in the one designated spot for app orders. When I clicked "I'm here", I was instructed to go inside. I couldn't, because the dining room was closed.
So, I got back in my car and went through the drivve-thru window. I got to the speaker and said that I placed an app order, but I couldn't come inside to get it. She said something about receiving an online order, then the speaker went silent. I asked if she was still there, and she responded to drive around, but giggled as she did so.
The drive-through was particularly slow. It took 15 minutes to get to the window. Bear in mind that they were only serving through the driv-thru window.
I had ordered a hamburger, a hot dog and fries. When I finally got to the window, the girl asked me if I had two strawberry desserts, and I said no, that I had placed an online order. She closed the window and turned around to talk to the manager, while 4 other girls stood around, looking confused.
When she came back to the window, she asked me what drinks I had ordered. I said that I didn't order any drinks, and that I has ordered a hamburger, a hot dog and fries. She immediately handed me a bag that was right next to the window. No apologies or explanations.
One redeeming thing is that the food was good.
I do understand that the pandemic has altered the face of eating out, but that...
Read moreI brought my daughter in hungry after lessons. Our order was taken quickly by a kind guy who knew the menu and helped us get what we wanted for the best price. He assured the food would be right out. Right after we washed our hands it was ready!! The food and ingredients were so fresh. We had cheeseburgers. The onions and pickles were almost the best part. We ate our burger, fries and custard all at the same time and it was a wonderful first experience. Every bite my daughter said how delicious it was and she's not easy to please. Very picky burger eater but said Freddy's had the BEST. Friendly crew and yummy food. The only thing keeping from a 5 star is the bathrooms were nasty. Good thing we didn't spend much time in there but the floors had so much grease sitting on them we almost fell walking in the door. They need some dawn or something plus a good mopping. Other than a grease rink on the flooor we had a great experience and will be back. The atmosphere was nice and the cameras made me feel safe being alone with my daughter. Even the water was good and the ice...
Read moreThis location has unfortunately become known for its long wait times. During my recent visit, I was told there was a 45-minute wait for food inside, even though the drive-thru, while moving slowly, wasn’t overly backed up. The dining room was full, so I asked if there were any issues in the kitchen but didn’t receive a clear answer—just that the wait was long. That suggests a possible staffing or operational problem.
What makes this more concerning is that a Chick-fil-A is located right next door—a brand known for its speed, organization, and consistent service, even during rush periods. With such a clear example of efficient fast food operations so close by, this location really should consider reevaluating how it handles peak volume.
I don’t normally complain about occasional mistakes—it’s fast food, and those things happen. But long delays like this make the “fast” in fast food feel misleading. Even many sit-down restaurants don’t have 45-minute waits. If delays like this are becoming the norm, it’s time to look seriously at staffing levels and order...
