So normally I would not waste my time complaining about a $5.00 order at Mcdonalds, but this was such poor quality and performance at all levels that it needs attention. We go to another nearby store and always buy the same items “Sausage/Egg/Cheese & Sausage Muffins”, and they are ALWAYS perfect.
Out of convenience I went to this Hope Mills location and placed an order for 2 Sausage Muffins and 1 Sausage/Egg/Cheese in the drive through.
First, the drive through attendant kept reversing the order and getting it wrong to the point that I had to keep asking if what was in the bag was correct. I took the food home to eat at the table with my wife, and when we opened them found there was no cheese on the sandwiches and they were so burnt they had a chemical after taste.
I called the store and reached a Ms. Keely whom stated she was one of the managers. I explained what had happened and she offered to replace the food within 1 week if I brought in receipt and mentioned it was a “Recovery Order”.
5-days later I went into the counter as was directed and Ms. Keely told the clerk to place order and interestingly “Keep the receipt”. After the order was completed Ms. Keely brought the food to me and asked me to check it out in front of her. I opened the sandwiches and found they were so burnt they would not even bend. One side was like a rock, and I asked if this was the way she thought they should be.
She took only 2 of the sandwiches I had opened to be replaced (Not the 3rd), and told her line to adjust toaster and get them back out. As her line was making the sandwiches I could see they were not burned this time, and she gave me the excuse “Her new oven was new and needed to sometimes adjust it”.
When I got home and opened the muffins on sandwiches were perfect, but they had ham on them instead of the sausage. What a surprise! First, there is no quality control at this store. Don’t tell me you have had a toaster adjustment problem and wait for customers to complain to adjust it. Your line is making the sandwich and should be doing this without waiting for a complaint.
Next, how many awful sandwiches do you need to pump out before you get a complaint, and how many mistakes can you make without knowing, and smile stating “Come back and see us”?
I will never go to this store again, encourage those who do to always check the product delivered, and do not accept the low quality they deliver. It is not Mcdonald’s standard and should not be the...
Read moreI visited this McDonald's today at 12:54 pm, and ordered two McChickens, two four piece nuggets, two double cheeseburgers, three small fries, one apple pie, one strawberry cream pie, and two chocolate chip cookies. I was charged $23.55. I asked for the receipt, but the window was out of receipt paper. Upon receiving my order, I went home to dispense the food. That is when I noticed that the bakery items were all missing. I went back, and was told that the worker said I had driven off without the bag. This I take partial responsibility for because I didn't check my bag. But I was never given the other bag at the window, and was never informed of there being another bag.
I was happy to get the bag of desserts and headed home. When I got home, I saw that there was still food in the first bag. Instead of it being the two McChickens that I had ordered, there were two double cheeseburgers and a fry left in the bag. My daughter had already eaten her double cheeseburgers, which made it obvious that my son had not yet eaten. I called the store to inform the manager of the issue with the order. The manager asked me to bring back the burgers so that they may be exchanged for the McChickens. At this time, I also asked for the receipt to be printed so that I feel comfortable that I wasn't overcharged. I never received a response because the manager had walked away from the phone. I then hung up.
I drove back to the restaurant, and handed the manager the two burgers. She then handed me the two McChickens in a bag, but I declined them and asked that they be remade in front of me. The manager then snatched the bag and went to the back to make the food herself. While she was out of view remaking the sandwiches, her workers were laughing. After a time period of almost six minutes, she returned with the food and with no gloves on her hands. She then asked what time did I initially order so that she could give me a receipt. In response, I gave her an estimated time so that she may look for the receipt. Needless to say, I never received the receipt for the food. Instead, I went to the kiosk to see the price I should have been charged, and found I was correct in assuming that I was overcharged. I then received the difference from the manager.
In conclusion, I wasted gas going back and forth to this McDonald's. I also did not allow my son to eat the food, nor did I eat it myself. I also went to another McDonald's to order the...
Read moreI stopped at McDonald’s this morning after I placed the curbside order to pick my order up. I got there at approximately 9:10 AM. I waited until 940 am I called inside the restaurant to find out what was going on my order. I was told they were shortstaffed and that if I want, I could come in inside and get my order. I told the gentleman know it was a curbside pick up and I could not go inside to get the order due to office disabled. He told me if I could not come in and get the order then I will just have to wait so I waited in about 10 minutes later young lady walks out with my food. I told her the drinks that she had for me was incorrect. I also asked the people manager. This young lady wrote horizon me as she walked away at this point had already been at the restaurant for over 50 minutes. I decided to move my vehicle Out of the curbside parking area to in front of the restaurant. After about five minutes, I noticed a lady walked outside and she was looking around. I asked her if she was the manager and she told me. Yes she walked over and I explained the situation as she got an attitude with me. I just asked her to please remake my son‘s food that was now cold And I would like my drinks that came with my food. After sitting there telling me about all of her frustrations and how she was supposed to be off today And that she had orders backed up, including DoorDash orders. I told her the only thing I would like her to do is please give me my drinks so I could leave the parking lot and you please remake my food. She told me she was not going to give me my drinks because I got an attitude with her because I’ve been out there in the parking lot for over 50 minute. As she walked away, she told me that she was not gonna remake my drinks and she was not gonna refund me the money for my son’s food. I told her she was Going to give him my drinks that came with my order or I was gonna call the police. She told me to do what I wanted to do and she walked back in the store.. Long story short, it took me to call Hope Mill police department for them to give me my drinks and remake my son‘s food. This is the worst experience I’ve had ever and I will not be going back. The staff is rude along with management. If you order curbside, you will be sitting in the parking lot for 30 to 45 minutes. Waiting on your food would not suggest to eat at this...
