I ordered a sub (meal) and a salad online tonight after a very long workday. I went to the store to pick it up. From the time I walked in I had a bad vibe. The young man working was the RUDEST most disrespectful employee i have ever experienced in ANY food chain store. He failed to even respond to hello or thank you and basically ignored me. I had to ask for a drink cup and the drink machine only had Sprite and was covered in sticky notes with “Out of order” written on them. I did not attempt to ask for my preferred soft drink, Coke, because by this time I was certain this very unhappy with his job worker wouldn’t respond anyway.
I had a feeling as I was leaving I should check the orders accuracy before I left the store but it was raining and I was hungry and tired. Though it is expected orders be accurate, or even SOMEWHAT accurate, the salad was not even close.
While my friend enjoyed his steak and cheese sub, I ordered a tuna salad. I paid for extra tuna and guacamole, but neither were included. I also asked for salt, pepper, red onion and black olives. While I got a few onions, there was ONE SINGL OLIVE SLICE. Good thing I had my bifocals on or I may have missed it.
This was an online order. It should not be difficult to read and apply specified ingredients a paying customer has requested. Having said that, I love those salads and order them very often from another location. They are always fresh, enjoyable and satisfying. I was really hungry and looking forward to my favorite menu option. Sadly it was very disappointing and certainly was not what I ordered nor worth what I paid ($10.99) The three bites portion I of tunafish, a few red onions and one olive slice over spinach leaves I received was not even enough to satisfy a child's appetite.
Now I can understand if items had run out ONCE IN A WHILE but Mr Holier than Thou could have and SHOULD have informed me if that were the case. But he did not. I came in there smiling and left irritated and confused by how I had been treated.
I would definitely suggest the store manager either be replaced or put a bit more effort into this locations success. Implementing minimal qualifications for all employees such as a literacy requirement, the willingness to kindly interact with paying customers via speaking, possessing the ability and desire to follow instructions, and perhaps recognition for accurately and pleasantly filling orders would be a great start. Additionally, setting standards snd expectations such as providing a comfortable, friendly environment and experience to all guests.
A great experience increases the likelihood a customer will return. I am a small business owner, and I would absolutely not have an arrogant, ill mannered service worker representing my business. Perhaps reevaluating these circumstances would increase your quality, orders, profitability and overall rating. A business with a 2 .7/5.0 rating would not be most people’s first choice when surrounded with so many other options. As for me, I’ll drive a bit further going forward to a location that has provided a pleasant experience on a...
Read moreTerrible customer service and no pride in their work. I made an online order for 30 minutes out. After 15 minutes they called me to say they didn't have any more wheat bread at 5:30 at night. First, how long does that take and why would they have not made more bread earlier so they don’t run out? Sounds like poor planning at best or poor management. Trying to reduce waste is a good thing for sure, but losing customers is the best way to lose profits. I ordered three subs and had to change the bread on them, which sucked because I had made the order at home and had to guess what substitutions my family would want. You would think for something like this they would offer me some kind of compensation, free cookies, a drink, or even a sorry, but they just said, it will be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived, the two ladies working the counter we're polite and friendly, but also seemed pretty spaced out. I ordered and paid for the subs online so when I showed up they just handed the bag over the counter to me with almost no conversation. I asked them if they typically do something for their customers when something like this happens and they both said no and made some very sour faces. I told them I was going to write a review and then they said, very condescendingly “sorry about that”. Not sure if these girls were in their right mind at the time but clearly they have no concept of real...
Read moreWent to this location the staff was really nice. I wanted to pay with a gift card o received for Christmas, the gift card was a e-gift card something I nor the cashiers were familiar with. When it was time to pay they were unable to scan the gift card for payment so I ended up paying with my debt card. I went to the parking lot and tried to figure out why the gift card didn’t work and was able to figure out the problem. I then went back inside and asked if I could get the cash back on my card and purchase the food with my gift card as I had originally intended. NO one on duty was able to do refunds, weird, so the manager called someone who could,MR,ROB. And he said that the refund was not valid and it was no reason to give me my money back I prefer to use a different payment option. First of all I work hard for my money and any form of a refund is valid if the customer requests it, without customers subways will be closing like all the other stores and restaurants closing these days… TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT, PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER SUBWAY THIS ONE IS TRASH.. probably won’t be in business much longer with this type of lazy management and lack of...
