I had been dying to try this place after I saw it open. Finally found some time on a Saturday afternoon so my family and I decided to have a late lunch there on our way home. To begin we sat ourselves and waited 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us before we were handed menus. No drink or just hand menus. As we waited another 10 minutes, all while watch all 3 of the young ladies present play on their phone. Show each other things on their phones. Laugh and giggle. Eat hot cheetohs behind all while we are visibly irritated and hungry. Finally a young man (i believe the receipt said his name was Alan) noticed us gathering our thing to leave and sprung into action apologizing on behalf of his co workers. Even stating I guess I’ll make the money then. And believe me this young man was the only saving grace of getting 3 stars. Shout out to you young man. He promptly got us drinks, chips , soup and took our order. The food came out fast and the consensus at the table was 50/50 my spouse thought their food was over chared and basically just burnt tasting but liked all the other sides I.e the queso , the beans the enchilada. I had the exact same plate I thought every was pretty delicious for the most part but at the end of it all couldn’t find the 53$ (x2) in value for what I had. Other little things too. Our drinks were canned! And the overall layout and atmosphere was just kind of all over the place. I would still recommend this place to neighbors and friends to try it just to form their own opinion. in summary the young man that waited on us was overall the saving grace of...
Read moreWe were very excited to try this on opening day but what a waste of time and money. First they only took cash, a bad sign but we figured their systems were not working yet and had to go get cash. Should’ve just went to home. We got back and sat ourselves bc there is no hostess even though there are people standing around everywhere. My husband tried to order a beer but it was unavailable. Again we figured it’s their first day but if you’re open you should have everything ready. That was annoying. There was only 2 other tables ordering food when we arrived and the restaurant is quite small. We waited AN HOUR for our food!!! Then when it came out the steak (which I ordered medium well, came out rare and I’m pregnant so that was a problem. I could eat like one taco worth of meat). My husband and son burger was so charred my son couldn’t even eat and my husband was so hungry at this point he had no choice. When I took a bite of my sons burger I almost threw up. It was a WHOLE bite of charred meat. We are super understanding but for all the people working their and no customers I don’t understand. The table behind us food came out one person at a time and by the time the dad was finished the sons food was just coming out. What we thought would be a good experience was a 2 hour nightmare. The only good thing I have to say is our server was very nice, but we barely saw him because he was working with one other larger table. We won’t be returning and hope Victoria’s steakhouse does a better job to stay in business. Seeing as this is their first day I’m...
Read moreWent for a Birthday Dinner for a family member. They charge steakhouse prices but do not at all deliver a steakhouse experience.
The tables are just scattered about in what looks like a warehouse, the music is very loud and the service is unbelievably slow. Not to mention the chips and salsa are absolute garbage I thought maybe they had just burned my first chips which came out but we ate them and when we got a refill 30 minutes later they still tasted terrible.
The wait staff couldn't be bothered to refill your drinks and who knows what they were doing in the kitchen our food took over an hour to come out and they were not particularly busy.
That said the food was good but for something like $40 a plate this place was a terrible experience.
Did I forget to mention that I tried ordering beers off of their menu and was told 4 different times that they did not have the item requested. Why have it on your menu then!
People who go there show up dressed like they were going to any old taco stand and they treat you like it.
The only highlight of the evening was the live music it was a lady mariachi band and she from her own bottle of tequila that she brought with her was pouring shots for special guests such as birthdays. Honestly these women were holding up the entire customer service experience on their own. They deserve better. We all do.
4/10 do...
