I visited Whataburger Saturday morning and waited nearly 15 minutes for my order, only to get home and realize the entire meal was incorrect. I called the store and was told I could be compensated with a dessert—at 4am. Not only was that not part of my original order, but it also did nothing to resolve the issue.
They offered to remake the meal, and despite the inconvenience, I returned. Upon arrival, I asked to speak to a manager to request a refund instead of remaking the food. Instead, someone who clearly wasn’t a manager came out, admitted the real manager wasn't there, and said she was handling things with "a bunch of new kids." She then asked if I could take my refund in cash instead of having it returned to my card (which is how I originally paid). How is it acceptable that someone claiming to be in charge can't process a basic card refund?

I just left this Whataburger and had the absolute most awful experience. I was given the wrong drink twice and the 3 young ladies were actively speaking about the customers who had already previously ordered and myself [because they got my drink wrong even though it was clearly printed on the receipt] . if this is the type of employees you hire, whataburger, do better. and its not the first time. Read more7/17/24 around 12:30AM. Service was horrible. Pulled up behind two cars (not busy), and a line became seriously backed up behind us. Guy taking my order kept taking my order incorrectly despite how many times I repeated myself. Orders were taking way too long to be brought out. If it isn't the terrible service, it's the disgusting quality of food they serve. Night shift is the worst time to get food here. Despite my numerous complaints, each time I've come at night and had problems with my orders, management has not made any changes. Ruben Arreola is doing a horrible job hiring incompetent teens who could care less. The guy hangs out and talks to his staff all "buddy-buddy" during the day and could care less about his customers. I've gone in several times and he doesn't acknowledge his customers and doesn't seem to genuinely care, complete opposite of what I saw during the grand opening. This whataburger is my last resort one to go and it’s sad cause it’s the one closest to my house. The service there is absolute garbage, if you ever order online for pickup be ready to wait for 10-15 mins before anyone brings your food, doesn’t matter how far in advance you order, they will make u sit and wait. I usually never complain but this is a consistent pattern I’ve had when ordering here, crazy that it takes longer when I pre order vs ordering if I’m there, definitely don’t recommend this location unless you need your whataburger fix.
