As a first timer, I will say the coffee was good. My reasoning to trying this place out was to support locally if I ever wanted to buy outside of my job. As a fellow barista to a bigger corporation, I can understand that sometimes the job isnāt always a great time, but I had done the bare minimum by asking for some time to look at the menu when I showed up in the Drive- thru. I gave myself two minutes before deciding and let them know I was ready for my order to be taken. As it was, the girl taking my order sounded annoyed, and even more so when I asked what different milk alternatives they had. Again, that is why I had asked to look at the menu so that I could quickly scan to see if those things were listed before I started asking. I couldnāt find it and thatās what led me to having to ask. I proceeded to the window, and the guy Isaac said very little to me. He told me my total and I made sure I had my payment ready for him as soon as I pulled up. He asks me for the tip portion, and I know itās not his choice to be asking for a tip, but I wouldnāt have hesitated giving them one had they handled the prior interaction better. The quality of the food was average, and even then when he handed me my last itemā they just handed to me. Thankfully I knew it was my last item, because even then he just handed it to me, looked at me, and then closed the window. No goodbye, no thank youā nothing. Again, I did nothing to make them feel uncomfortable nor did I act in any way disappointed at the service I was receiving, but to hand me my last item and close the window. Like, thanks??
Thanks for making this moment one I would never want to give to one of my own customer at my own job. I get it, sometimes people suck, but youāre in a job that involves interacting with people. Do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience at coffee box is nothing less than disappointing. Their quality has significantly subsided. "They aren't as they used to be" certainly applies. As a business man and student, I enjoy a quaint place to work and drink my coffee. Nothing beats sipping on a delicious coffee while having comfortable soft music and getting work done. This place has become a discotec with nothing but condescending teenagers and passive aggressive responses, selling over priced expresso shots (which are also very bitter), their drinks have way too much sugar for my taste. Employees are always laughing, dancing and are obnoxiously loud. Let's just say it's not the serious establishment it used to be. There's honestly better places. I have to drive a great length but id rather go to the district than have to put up with the experience I've had here. I gave this place several chances but it seems it has adapted a new culture that no longer abides to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreQuality drinks. Great service every time. Iād recommend to the owners to implement more comfortable seating and power outlets for the studious types. Otherwise, not a bad spot to get a study session in or to meet someone for biz and/or pleasure.
WiFi password is at the bottom of the receipt so keep that handy.
Place needs more food options to be a full 5-star study spot for me.
Drinks are also more on the pricier side for the size.
In general Iām happy this place is available on the east side.
Parking situation is not that great considering all the businesses serving their clients within that vicinity so get there before rush hour or youāll be walking about a block or two from where you parked. Thatās not a fault of the cafe but rather the location.
People are generally friendly and willing to share some words with you should you find the courage to...
