Benny Franks Bar and Kitchen — Restaurant in El Paso

I have been to this bar countless times. I love the atmosphere, happy hour and great service from the staff. I also suggest this place to other people and this is the go to spot for my friends and I. On 8/6, was the worst experience from the guy bartender on the second floor. My friends and I normally sit downstairs but decided to go upstairs tonight. Me and a friend walked to the bar and watched the bartender completely ignore us as we waited over 10 minutes. The guy bartender walked passed us multiple times, never acknowledged us, never made eye contact as we politely waiting for him. Three other customers walked up to the bar after us and the guy bartender immediately served them. As me and my friend continued to wait another bartender came upstairs and asked the guy bartended if he needed help. He laughed and mouthed to his coworkers those 2 guys over there pointing at me and my friend. At that moment it was obvious he was purposely ignoring us. It was only after my friend confronted him…call it what it is…being discriminated against we finally got the attention of the other bartender. Although she was apologetic about her coworkers behavior, she justified it that he is new to bartending. New or not it doesn’t take common sense to acknowledge your guest. After that we decided to go downstairs to the other bar and the same woman bartender came downstairs and continued to apologize. We have the last laugh because we are regulars there and he missed out on a huge check from us with a huge tip. To the owners….please reevaluate the guy bartender you had working upstairs tonight. I’m sad to say my friends and I will not be supporting your business anymore because of how we were treated by your rude bartender and we will tell this story to anyone that...

💯💯By far the coolest place in El Paso to grab something to munch on whether you're starving or wanting a snack- definitely won't go thirsty here with multiple bars. Multiple tvs & a giant big screen upstairs that you can see from Zaragoza ESPECIALLY at night. Another plus...smoker friendly!! It's not what you would normally call it an inside/outside style - the building it made from shipping containers which is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!💯💯 Love the theme..very '87-'89 definitely my Era & absolutely inviting & DEFINITELY DIFFERENT!! There is a tattoo shop and what seemed to be a pop up shop with little goodies (not sure if it's there all the time). So much to check out - I didn't get to check everything out it was busy but couldn't tell because this place runs like a well oiled machine!! Oh, NOT TO MENTION.... DOG FRIENDLY!!💯💯 Most DEFINITELY have to check this...

Looks can be deceiving, place is very nice and seemed like a good place to check out , boy was I in for a surprise, service here is horrible, wait staff looks at you as a nuisance and chats it up with one customer sitting at the bar, order a soft drink that is flat as flat can be and my wife had to walk up to the bar just to get my drink refilled when i went to the restroom, took at least 8 mins. to get a menu when we sat down, even a couple that came in after us canceled their order and left that should've been a big sign of other things to come, the food looks promising but lacks seasoning and flavor, just fell flat as their soda, for the price that I paid here, I could've gone to a prime steakhouse had a better dinner and better service...enter this place at...
