JJ's Fish and Chicken — Restaurant in Horn Lake

The food is terrible. It has been years since I've been here and decided to give it another try. Wasted money once again. The fish wasn't fully cooked and the breading was terrible and soggy. The fries were over seasoned and limp--you know the not cooked all the way sitting under a heat lamp for 2 hrs type of fries--The Hushpuppies were burnt and possibly the smallest I've ever seen anywhere and the chicken was just disgusting sloppily prepared.The cole slaw portion was the size of a small cup of ketchup (literally). The fish/chicken portions were large to compensate for the horrible food if that's a benefit. My entire order was basically discarded. I'd give them no stars if possible. Seems to be an ongoing problem with restaurants here in HL. JUST ABLSOLUTELY PATHETIC. Stop supporting these garbage businesses and we will get better quality...

Ordered my food at 8:39 and walked in at about 9:20 they waited until I showed up to start my food even though i ordered a 40$ to go order. They waited until I got there to start on it after I had worked a 12 hour day in the sun. Then when I got there and waited for my order until 9:36 and was slightly upset they waited so long to even start my order, I was actually LITERALLY cussed out. The guy even said double F-U as I was just trying to express how upset I was for having to wait for an hour even though I called ahead of time. Absolutely pathetic business ethic and my family and I didn't eat until 10 at night. Not dependable, bad work ethic , food isn't good enough that's why it's had 6 owners In just 5 years, and if your in the wrong you get cussed out. Absolutely terrible experience especially if your needing to feed the family last...

I went in there today this was for my family's dinner tonight so we got a fifteen piece dark family meal. It came with one side and one two liter drink. They have lots and lots of options. I called it in got my order in 15 minutes!! We got a large order of fried corn also DELICIOUS!!!

The NEW owner was extremely kind. My daughter kept asking for a koolaid & he gifted it to her free of charge. The food is 1000//10!!!!

The skin on this chicken is YUMMMY & so thin & crunchyyyy! So crisp!

The fries were cooked perfectly. He has specials daily! He has printed out menu's for take away! They sale items in there too! Such as meats, like fish, lamb, & chicken, desserts, and seasonings also

I cannot tell you how awesome of an experience it was to see somebody so friendly owning a restaurant near home! PLEASE GO SEE HIM!!!! Top tier...
