Good options for lunch or dinner. Chips were included with all of our meals. Be sure to select your salsa option - the default might not be your first choice. The 'Feugo' and 'Avocado Tomatillo' salsas are quite good. I'd pass on the 'Border' though.

Portions were decent for all in the party except for mine, unfortunately, which was quite light. My daughters got Kid's meal burrito bowls and both had more food than my regular burrito bowl. The actual burritos are good size and well filled - would certainly go with that vs a bowl next time.

I tasted the chicken, carnitas, and shrimp, all of which I would have no qualms about ordering again. Very tasty. My wife tried the Smoky Citrus Mushrooms and reports they are also quite good as a non-meat option.

Overall, good food and a good experience. Hopefully they can iron out the portion consistency issue. Would certainly...

To start off the boy that came to the window when I pulled up acted like I was an inconvenience, and that he had better things to do, when he did get my food and bring it to me at the window, he took my money, crammed, my bag of food in my face while handing me my change, felt like he didn’t want to be there, not friendly whatsoever barely said anything didn’t even smile. There was a girl standing at the counter thing that the food is on waiting for people to pick it up, playing with her hair braiding it and that then got a customer a lid for there food. Never washing her hands in between. Sad sad service for sure. Sure didn’t like feeling like I was an inconvenience for them to help me to get me my food they don’t want a job they shouldn’t be there. There are plenty of people who would work there, and at least treat customers...

I have been a fan of the Border Grill since the first location opened in Marquette, MI in the 90s. My go-to meal is the steak quesadilla. I just love it! The chips were always a favorite too, but Border Grill had to change their chips in the last year due to a supplier no longer carrying the original product. The new chips are not as tasty to me but still aren't bad. The remainder of the menu is still just as good as it was all those years ago. And now, there is a Houghton location too, which means I no longer have to wait to drive through Negaunee or Marquette to enjoy one of my favorite UP eateries. I highly recommend the Border Grill in all it's locations. And they offer gift cards!!
