I want to leave positive reviews, I really do. But when there's no line, and only a few customers in the store, I'd expect the standard of cleanliness to be higher. Plenty of crumbs on a few tables, and chairs largely not pushed in. Not to mention food buildup on a baby seat, around the trash can, under the soda dispenser, and a lot of debris outside the restaurant as well (the ash tray is basically full of cigarettes, and many litter the ground also. Plenty of dirt in the parking spaces, as if they haven't been swept in weeks/months. Etc).
This is only topped by the fact that the 2 burgers I got were near room temperature after only a few minutes. I understand that things do cool off, and it may take a minute or two for it to make it to the tray and the tray to you, but this was absolutely unacceptable.
Twice in a row I have come here to this exact scenario (minus the food. That one was new, and again there was no line at. all. when I had ordered/gotten my food, so there's no fair excuses here), so I know this isn't a fluke. This burger king needs to be flipped on its head if it's ever going to be worth anything.

Other management thinks it's above them to help their team and that everyone is supposed to make sure they don't really have to do their job. The food taste terrible because no one wants to properly wash anything, the fry baskets are never washed, salt shakers never changed, constant broken equipment, and I tried making my mangers aware. They ignored me and the problems and just tried to justify why it is this way. This place don't care about their customers or their employees. I wasn't paid for a whole day but I worked for them that day. It took them two weeks to handle the drunk and high general manager that was sleeping in the lobby. Not impressed with the service received at the drive thru on mother's day. Not a typical BK customer, but stopped for my mother in law for her favorite burger. Let's just say I'll be going to Calumet for future BK visits.
I would come here for BK breakfast when they first opened, but then after numerous wet soggy eggs, cold sausage, and soggy hash browns this became a less frequent stop.
