Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Houma

Always friendly staff, food is good, and indoor playground for kids. If ever needed management is always helpful. On one occasion a assistant manager (Kinsley) help resolve a problem in a professional and kind manner. Would recommend this place to anyone on the fence about where to eat. Only down side to this restaurant is they are closed on Sunday, but this is a Chick-fil-A corporate policy.

Updated 1/10/18: first bad experience at any Chick-fil-A, I had a coupon for a free milkshake for the last time I donated blood. I went through the drive thru ordered a small milkshake. The lady handed it to me when I arrived at the window and took my coupon she had difficulties ringing it up so a manager came to the window to do it for her. The manager tried to ring it up then she said the card had expired on the 6th four days earlier. I informed her that I didn't have any money. She asked for the milkshake back, I was obliged to. I understand throwing away things when people order them and Don had payment. It prevents people from saying I don't have anything after the fact. However I ordered the shake with a coupon and had it in the car already and feel that a restaurant that is closed one day out of the week so their staff can observe/attend Christian services should be a little more Christian and a little less corporate. To ask for it back, after the fact. From a manager no less.

Updated 5/4/19: My Past two visits have messed my order in drive through. Second time they charged for drinks and fries separate to the entree after not giving me them at the window after they charged me for two entrees. So they just added it and charged again. This was 78¢ more so I asked them to fix it. Which took 5 minutes at the window. The lady at the window said they had a few new hires, Which seems more like an excuse than an appolgy for overcharging along with wasting time.

Updated 5/28/2021: one if the girls standing by the drive thru windows spent more time flirting(at least that's what it looked/sounded like) with a coworker after having me pull forward on a simple meal. They had the drink wrong, and was missing the salt and pepper I requested, so she walked back and came with way more salt than was reasonable (thanks), but brought no black pepper packets, in Total it took a few minutes for her to fix the drink (chatting with co-workers), stopped on the way to flirt with boy directing cars into the lanes, when I asked if she put salt and pepper in the bag she said she would go get some and stopped again to have a word with her coworker. This Chick-fil-A when from one of my preferred restaurants in town to a place I visit once a year.

The rod of correction...

I was given a redemption card by Chick-fil-a back in February 2021 due to them messing up my order. The redemption card was for a free item (fry, soft drink, ice cream). I went to the Chick-fil-a in Houma, LA today and placed a order for two cob salads with grilled chicken. I received my order after waiting 10 minutes and they prepared the salad with fried chicken. I gave the order back and they said they would have to re-fix the salads. While inconveniently waiting I asked to redeem the card for a small soft drink. I was told that the card was expired and that they could not honor it. WOW! If that was not terrible customer service I don't want to see it. If I could have given no stars I would have. So the card that they gave me for bad service the first time wasn't even applicable after they gave me bad service the...

If I could give 10 stars I would this is what happened. A man and women met our family in the parking lot asking for food. My dad told them to come inside and he would buy them each a meal. They followed us inside and we all ordered 7 meals altogether. The issue came up that our meal because it was so large took 25 minutes to come to us. The store manager informed us he was not satisfied with our wait and refunded our money. I told the manager thank you and informed him he must fed our family but also two homeless people, he was shocked to here this news. As we waited my dad had the time to witness to the couple about Jesus Christ. Isn't God good and Chick- fil-A is...
