Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Louisiana

From the moment my dish began being created, to that last decadent bite of turtle cheesecake, each member of the boh staff (kitchen crew) went above and beyond to make my party feel at home and appreciated. Thankfully since some of the foh staff (service/wait) could use a refresher on Southern Hospitality. Luckily the gentleman working the second half of the salad bar was already creating my main food dish, when the cashier roughly told my mom (Yes it was a family outing) they had to "find a table" and couldn't start their plates until they did. Ignoring the fact that one in our party was disabled and it would be painful to do all the back and forth walking that he was requiring. Thankfully the kitchen crew was effortlessly on their A++ Game. Within a couple of genuinely spoken greetings we felt right at home. Within moment's they had us laughing and chatting through our muffled mask's. My answer to keeping my family comfortable, I kept returning to the buffet. Greeted with a playful "you ate all that already" or "where you putting it all". We found a common ground with an appreciation for great food and They found the expressway to my heart, even taking the scenic route via my grumbling belly. So thank y'all very much for making my first Saturday night out in forever a positively memorable one! An absolutely amazingly Awsome place to bring family an friends to eat the food is always absolutely fresh an delicious I eat there at lease 3 times a week when I go to Houma it's the only restaurant I will ever eat at because the employees are extremely polite an very a attendant of the customers I was a waitress 22 years and if I could go back to work I would definitely want to work at Golden Corral in Houma by the time we eat we are so full I never make it to the desert bar but I always tell people when they ask me where is the best place to go eat I always tell them go to home until the Golden Corral their salad bars always extremely fresh the fruit bar is always fresh the vegetable bar is always fresh the food is just awesome I highly recommend anybody that I speak to you to go eat there my aunt said that they have one in Carencro or in Lafayette and they went and ate there and they said it was that they didn't like it so I told her it when next time she comes to Morgan City when she's off on Monday or Tuesday that I would take her to go eat at the one over here so she can see what a big difference it is from the one in Lafayette compared to the one that Houma my husband really enjoyed his Father's Day dinner tonight because we went and ate at Golden Corral hours and we really loved it thanks for the awesome service the amazing food and the hospitality is amazing have a blessed day in...

We like Golden Corrals period. Great value and choices. This particular location is now one of our favorites. Two types of taco meat, the thicker would be better on the nachos and the thinner on the tacos. Both had really good flavors. More options here than any other. Had two types of enchiladas. I had the shredded chicken. Not the best but still good. Pot Roast ...our favorite was not a disappointment and excellent, it takes the number 2 spot on the list. There were lots of vegetable options and the salad looked very fresh. There was a multimeat sandwich that was ....dang good. No idea of what all the meats were, it didn't matter lol good sandwich and very filling. The dessert area offered up more cake choices than anywhere else. Each GC has its own flavor and choices.
