"El Pechocho" Tacos Estilo D.F (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

The food is good but depending on who’s running the taco stand, they change the prices and the service. A recent example like today when I bought a fajita quesadilla and 9 fajita tacos and they charged me $23. But just last week, they told me the tacos are $1.50 and the quesadillas are all $8. So I paid $21.50. I also ordered over the phone and as I was placing my order and confirming what my wife wanted, the lady on the phone told me twice that next time before I call, know what I want. She was rushing me just because I asked my wife to make sure I got her order correct while I was ordering. They should really have prices on a menu because ever time, they charge me something different. Sometimes the tacos are $2, sometimes $1.50, sometimes $1.75. It’s not okay to charge extra or change the prices when they feel like it. I guess since I “took too long” to order 9 tacos and 1 quesadilla, she included a tip for herself ? I’d like clarification on the prices on this taco stand if someone can help me out because even if it’s one quarter or 50 cents, it’s not okay to pocket...

This food truck had been popping up on my maps feed for awhile and I finally gave it a try today 05/29/2024. I must say that the food and service is excellent. On this day, I ordered 1 hawaiian torta 1 torta de fajita and 2 tacos de trompo and it was soooo delicious and that's why this place has a 4.9 rating. I mean these tortas are humongous and packed with so much flavor and the prices are very good the food is worth every penny. They have this red salsa that is so good and for some reason it has this menudo taste and that makes it even better. Overall this place has very good food and I'm looking forward in returning. The Hispanic man that was there cooking on this day cooks very very good and the lady that was there also is very nice and has a very good attitude. I highly highly recommend this location on Airline for the great service and extremely delicious food. Another thing I would like to add is that this place takes cash but not to worry for you customers that don't carry cash, they also accept or take zelle so that a huge plus so...

This is my first time here so let's put it this way Don't waste your money here food is dry and overcooked meat only has a burnt taste only and the green sauce is watered down cilantro and the red sauce smells like a retirement center and cant even explain the mint flavor in there who know what they uesd if you're asking for a quesadilla with cheese and you want the cheese, don't expect it here mainly dry meat and a sprinkle of cheese and if you like burnt hard bread get a torta. One of the worse places in Houston i wonder how they have high ratings probably the flea market down the street but if i had uesd my card to make the purchase it was bad enough to do a charge back and get my money back will not visit this place ever again
