This use to be one of my favorite places to eat at To-Go or dine in. I am not sure what is going on but things have changed for the worse!!!!
So this review will actually cover two different take out experiences all within the last few weeks.
I am not sure who is cooking back there in the kitchen but they need better training.
The first experience I wanted to talk about was a to-go order for a bacon cheese burger and fries & Pineapple Grilled Pork Chop.
The porkchop was cooked so long it was completely un-edible. I think you could say boot leather might have been a softer better option. It was so disappointing because I have had this dish many times there and it was always fantastic.
The hamburger was so over cooked it was dry, flavorless not quite a hockey puck but not to far from it. Again dam near inedible.
Ok so I figured maybe it was a bad cook poor experience. I called up last night 9-18-23 around 8:15pm and ordered two hamburger's one a bacon cheese burger with sweet potatoes French fries, and a bacon hickory cheese burger also with sweet potato fries.
Well the hambugers did come out ok after asking for them to be cooked medium rare, they were completely flavorless. I think the $1 cheeseburger from McDonalds has more flavor. They were both completely bland tasteless meat. The bread was so greasy wet and damp they were falling apart and disgusting before putting any condiments on the burger.
The worse part by far though the sweet potatoe fries. Both orders were in a round mass shoved in their to go container. They were completely under cooked, soaking in grease, soggy mess that was completely unfinished. They were not crispy tasty fries they were this mass ball of horrible wetness.
Basically dam near $35 dollars wasted for a horrible tasting, under cooked soggy, wet, tasteless meal. DONT eat here to go. I use to get food here all the time but now I wont step foot in this place. I use to say this was a 4ish star place now I would be hard pressed to...

My recent visit to Barnabys Cafe left me with mixed feelings about the overall dining experience. While the ambiance and service were satisfactory, the food quality fell short of expectations, especially considering the above-average prices.
Upon entering Barnabys Cafe, I was greeted by a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff members who were attentive and accommodating throughout my meal. The service was prompt and courteous, adding a positive touch to the dining experience.
However, the food at Barnabys Cafe was average at best. The dishes lacked the wow factor and failed to impress in terms of taste and presentation. Considering the higher-than-average prices on the menu, I expected a more elevated culinary experience that unfortunately did not materialize.
The discrepancy between the quality of the food and the prices charged at Barnabys Cafe was a significant drawback. While the service and ambiance were decent, the lackluster food failed to justify the premium prices.
In conclusion, my experience at Barnabys Cafe was mediocre, with the food quality not meeting the expectations set by the above-average pricing. While the service was commendable, the overall value proposition fell short. For those seeking a more satisfying dining experience that offers better quality food at a reasonable price point, I would not recommend Barnabys Cafe. Three stars reflect the average experience I had...
Read moreHave eaten at Barnaby’s many, many times on a weekly basis. Usually go to Woodway location and they are always on top of their game. Today, I decided to try the Fountainview location and honestly must say it’s a far cry from any Barnaby’s experience I have ever had. Walked in, stood there (waited and waited and waited) employees moving to and from cash registers collecting money no one even acknowledged, greeted or say a thing again waited more. Finally after what seemed like 15 minutes a group walks in and they are greeted and attended too (mind you I’m still standing here...Hello). I left took my business elsewhere but not after calling the manager to let him know what I just experienced. Come to find out the man that was at the register on several occasions and never once acknowledged was the manager. I explained to him about my experience and his excuse was because of the pandemic we don’t have enough staff to be able to attend to everything (excuse me, what). I suggested that maybe they should then limit the number of guests they are trying to serve so that their staffing levels are suffice to handle their workload. Furthermore, I get the pandemic issue by all means ain’t discounting the fact but the pandemic has nothing to do with customer service 101 and not acknowledging someone or saying hello or we will be right with you or anything is a lack of poor...
