Branding Iron Hamburger — Restaurant in Houston

Another old school gem. All seating is outdoors at picnic tables. A family business. I know it for an excellent, consistent quality for the last 30 years. The Old Hempstead Highway way of life. I know, technically, today it is Hempstead Road, but this always will be the Hempstead Highway. Essentially it is one woman operation with orders cooked to order, so do not expect immediate service. Nor anybody is going to dance around you. It is good and very tasty food off their menu. They do have to make money and as the prices are very reasonable they request that you do not bring in food or drink off the premises and then take up their limited seating. That is very reasonable. Unless you are some sort of self entitled snowflake. American food with a touch of Asian fusion. Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fish sandwiches, all are very good, for a change of pace there I recommend beef...

Long story short read the menu and see if the managers special is even a special 🤩🤫🤬its not !! Well I’ve been there to this place before but apparently this time the Chinese lady that works there must have been in a bad mood I ordered a double meat hamburger with cheese french fries and a lemonade that was just kool-aid when you add it up it’s 975 on the special it’s $10 and she still charge me tax so what’s special about that then I asked her for two extra ketchup packets she only gave me two and she threw it at me don’t go here customer service sucks the hamburgers are good. BACK AGAIN I got a doublemeat cheese...

Bad customer service ,I called them to ask them about what they had available and the prices and she told me what they had with no problem. Then once I get up there ,the Asian lady seen me and did a sign with her hand saying they are closed and I was trying to get in touch with her to make sure because she didn't mention being closed when I was on the phone with her and it said that they close at 7 and it was only 5 something. I called over 10 times, no answer and I seen her walk in the room when I was calling,she ignored it. Don't waste time at this place that can't even get there...
