I bought a convertible handtruck, but it was used, and they tried to tell me it was just dusty. When they went to clean it, the scuff marks wouldn't come off, so it was used, as I told them. One of the wheels was sticking, and some of the plastic from the one of the tires was coming off. They didn't want to give me a discount on a used handtruck, saying there was nothing wrong with it. I told them if I'm going to pay full price, then get me a new one from warehouse. The young lady from the garden center finally gave me a 25% discount, but that doesn't excuse the other employees dismissive behavior. They were so dismissive of my concern, at first, it made me want to walk out and go to Lowe's, but I waited. The hand truck is supposed to be convertible, but when I got it home and tried to move the handle, it was stuck. The metal ring pieces that the handle slides in and out of are bent, so that the handle gets stuck and won't come out to convert. Someone there at Home depot knew this and they still acted like I was being ridiculous, and there was nothing wrong with the handtruck, when clearly, it was used and messed up to the point where it does not function properly. I would have given this experience a one, if it were not for the young lady from the garden center, that assisted me with the purchase and the discount. Luckily, it can still perform the tasks I need it for.

Went there to buy some yard signs; it wasn't as cheap as expected but it did the job, so that's great

Do not shop at Home Depot - The same day - overcharged - showed the assistant manager the online price - which states - can pick up in store. Then it was a used item - damaged and hair in the air filter. Assistant Store manager was extremely rude. National customer service line wasn’t any better. Stated “I should have returned it the same day or next day”. I did not even use the product. On the receipt- it even list the wrong information for the item. Try Lowe’s - maybe they will respect customers. They also stated that my military discount was the reason they overcharged me - when this was the price in store and online. I had documented all of it. Customer service could care less. Home Depot another big corporation that can care less about customers and won’t even honor the prices they list themselves. Or even the return policy !

Over the years, I have visited this Home Depot countless times, and each time, I am met with mixed emotions. There are days when I leave satisfied with my purchases and the customer service received, and there are days where I leave feeling frustrated and disappointed. It seems like there is no consistency in the level of customer service at this particular location. The store is often cluttered and untidy - making it difficult to find what I need. I have even had instances where I couldn't find an employee to ask for assistance, as there seems to be a shortage of staff or not on the floor And when I am lucky enough to come across an employee, they often appear disinterested and unwilling assist or get a complete full sentence answer for the employee. However, I must give credit where credit is due, and there have been a few occasions where I have interacted with friendly and helpful staff who have made my shopping experience more pleasant. These instances have been a ray of hope amidst all the negative experiences, and they remind me that there are still good employees at this location. However, the overall experience at this Home Depot leaves much to be desired. It's disheartening to see such a lack of quality customer service, especially in a store that is known for its home improvement expertise. I have even contemplated going to other home improvement stores because of the consistent disappointment I feel with the service at this particular location. It's a shame because this store is conveniently located for me and has a decent selection of products. I can only hope that the management takes notice of the ongoing issues and takes proactive steps to improve the overall customer experience. In today's competitive market, businesses need to understand the importance of providing top-notch customer service, as it ultimately determines whether or not customers will continue to support their establishment. With the rise of e-commerce, brick-and-mortar stores need to work even harder to offer a unique and satisfying shopping experience. As for me, I will continue to visit this Home Depot for its convenience to my Parent's home, but I do hope to see an improvement in the overall customer service in the future.

PS.

I want to add that there are increasing numbers of day laborers seeking work in the HD parking lot, and some of them can sometimes be aggressive. Potential risk to individual safety by shopping at this location compared to...

Manager etiquette. I am soooo upset. I retired January 19th, so my first project was to floor my front room with LifeProof flooring. I immediately went and purchased $600.35 of flooring . Then fell and broke my knee, was incapacitated till now. Just barely installed the floor this last weekend. August 11th. I had 1 entire sealed box left over and wanted to return. Counldn't find my receipt, so went to Home Depot and gave them my Credit Card used for purchase. They found my purchase and tried to give me a store credit and the system would not approve it because it had passed the 90 days. I literally have a legit reason and obvious that I purchased all this material and not very ethical to not give a refund or store credit for the $66.70 of 1 complete pack of flooring. When I went Monday, Aug. 12th in the early part of the day, a manager by the name of Red came and would not do a thing to help me. Just said it was store policy, so then I asked for the store Manager whence she called some person that was obviously not the store manager and just told me it was against store policy again. Then I left the store having to pack back in my car the heavy material all over again. Called Corporate office and a very sweet lady spoke to me and told me to go back and tell them after speaking to Corporate they said that the store manager should have at least tried to give me a store credit of at least the price and a discounted amount for inconvenience sake. So I went back and a very nice black manager again even called the Corporate office and asked and I had to go move my car because I had parked on the other side of the store looking for a manager and thus ended up on the entire other side leaving my mother in the car this time. While I left and came back, he was no longer on the phone and that same manager by the name of Red was there again, and he tells me immediately upon walking back into the store that there was nothing they could do and it was beyond their hands now. I feel like this was a personal vendetta against me with that original manager by the name of Red. I really need to get my money back for this flooring. There is nothing I can do with it. All of my house is already either tiled or wood floors. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS RETURN...

If I could, I'd give this place zero stars. I ordered some items to be delivered and I paid $35 for the delivery. One of my items was for me to go pick up at the store. I got a delivery of the item that I was supposed to pick up in the store, and the other items never showed up, but they claimed they were delivered. I called the 1-800 number to the representative, and she called the store to see what was going on. When she called the store, the girl was like, "All her delivery people had miraculously just left, yeah sure they did. And when the 1-800 representative had asked her to see what could be done, she was so lazy she didn't even want to give me a refund. The 1-800 representative told her to refund the items that I did not get, and so she ended up doing it. She acts like she did not want to do anything about this situation, nor did she care. She spoke about her manager being around, but she was too lazy to go get him. Then she had enough nerve to tell me I needed to just reorder the items. The items were $350, and my money would not have been back until 10 days later. Who's going to give you $700 so you can screw it up again! I don't know where customer service is gone it's really gone down the drain. You do not get anything for their mistake. Surely they are human they can make mistakes but you should have done something about it. She should have gone to her manager and so I could have been delivered early in the morning tomorrow, but she never did that. She shouldn't even have this job. What really should have been done is I'm making sure I was satisfied instead I have to post this review and I do hope that a lot of people see it and don't go to the store and they end up losing money. So that they'll lose more money on this review, then it would have cost them to do what was right! The 1-800 representative just said that she would call back when the manager was available I know she's not going to call back. Thank you so much Home Depot for screwing me over. I definitely will not be going to your store and through this post I hope people will just go to Lowe's for...
