So I came to calliopes on 12/31/2023 the location off Westheimer I normally go to the one off W. Bellfort and never really had a issue but now they are offering $5 off a order off 25 or more me and my wife went she made her order and the order was around 39- about 34 after when I made my separate order before I left the lady forgot to put it on for me my order was $35 over the amount they was advertising she admitted she forgot to do it and was trying to talk her way out so I asked her what can we do to balance it I proposed can I get something under or around 5 dollars she said no I asked why not cause she made the mistake the manager was called to the front she stated the boss would have to make the call on it so I asked for the owner who wasn’t in made it seem like she wasn’t interested in calling both the woman which dreads and the other woman gave very poor customer service and did not do right by the customer when it was her mistake $5 can go a long way and if you are advertising something you should make sure you are not committing false advertising they really didn’t care and if she wasn’t tryna get back to her phone she probably would’ve been paying attention enough to not make the mistake. I really like coming here but the new workers they have and the service plus how they treat the customers I won’t return to this location again I’ll stick to W . Bellfort as long as they are not as bad as this one if so I won’t be coming back any more. To many good restaurants to come back to one who is disrespectful I can hear the conversations and curse words in the front just nothing was enjoyable about today just sad to see. Also they said the owner won’t give anything away for free I’m confused on how giving me something for under $5 which was suppose to be taken off is free when it was suppose to come off my total. A couple of weeks ago I went here for lunch and ordered the pork chops, red beans and rice with coleslaw. After getting my order I drove off and opened my container, the presentation wasn’t appealing but I tasted it anyway. The chop tasted like it wasn’t seasoned at all, the coleslaw looked like it was frozen and thawed, and the red beans were full of water. I called to tell them about he issue and the young lady said come back and we’ll take care of it for you. I went right back after leaving Wendy’s. I got there and talked to the young lady from the phone and told her I just wanted my money back, she said I’ll try to get you a refund. I was like whaaaa? She asked me to pull to the next window and I did. An Asian lady came to the window first off with an attitude and asked me what’s the problem. So I begin to explain to her the issue and she stated with an attitude, “ That is one of our popular item, have you ever had our pork chops before?” I told her no, however I have eaten there before. Then she said “everything you ordered was one of the popular items on the menu and we haven’t had any complaints before!” I was like ok and this means what? The cook may be having a bad day. She was like we can make it over for you. I said no I don’t have time for that, just give me my money so I can get back to work. She said “ we don’t give refund, I can remake it for you or give you store credit “ I was like I no ma’am I don’t have time for that. “ so she said well next time you come we can remake it. Read moreThis is my 2nd time ordering food from this place. About a month ago I ordered a grilled chicken po boy and lemon pepper and honey barbecue Buffalo Wings. The chicken po boy was terrible because the meat was very dry. The wings were delicious. Today, 11/16/23, I ordered the wings again. When I got home and sat down to eat, I noticed totally different wings. These chicken wings were huge and actually fried chicken. These were definitely not the same type wings I had the 1st time I came here. I contacted the restaurant and a guy who says he was the manager told me to bring them back or get a refund. I brought the food back to the restaurant to give them the benefit if the doubt and told them to just remake the wings. When they brought the wings out, they looked exactly the same. I was hungry so I tried the wings. They were terrible. So when I got up from my table to take the wings back to get a refund, however, I was told by the head cook that they could not issue a refund because I asked them to remake the food.
