I tried Cheba Hut a couple of days ago based on the reviews. I got two sandwiches, the White Widow and (8') and the 5-0 (12'). We spent about $35 which included drinks, no chips. My son loved the 5-0. The White Widow was okay, not bad, but I think I will customize it more to my liking next time. Based on the description, there is provolone cheese, but I didn't taste it at all. The chicken was a bit tough, but it was close to closing, not that it should matter. I also thought the bread would be a bit more toasted. My sandwich was pretty small and lacked enough toppings/ingredients. There we a couple of pieces of onion and one slice of tomato cut in half. I would also prefer pickle slices as opposed to spears. I don't eat beef or pork, so my options to try are limited, but everyone should try them! The atmosphere is pretty cool and the service was good too.

What a fun place and every sandwich I've tried is delicious. Love the fun artwork in the main dining room and the cool bathroom tiles and wallpaper. I can definitely see myself stopping by regularly for a sandwich and boozy drink. I saw that they also have kool-aid but didn't get a chance to try it. For sure, next time!! The service was phenomenal as well. And did you know??? You can buy any of the good looking plants there. Those were some of the best looking plants I've ever seen. You just scan the QR code, make your payment, and take that baby home with you. What else do you need in life? Awesome sandwiches, yummy drinks, cool friends throughout the place, beautiful plants, and a nice, clean restroom. I could probably live there.

I’ve been to several Cheba Hut locations, and while I love the brand, this newer location isn’t quite on par with the others yet. The service here is noticeably slower, and the food is a little inconsistent compared to what I’ve had at other spots. That said, I keep coming back for the Not’chos my absolute favorite! They’re loaded with melted cheddar cheese, jalapeños, onions, black olives, hot sauce, and ranch, all on a bed of nacho cheese Doritos. I skip the chicken, but you can add it if you want. It’s ridiculously good. Also, bonus points for having Kool-Aid on the menu such a nostalgic and fun touch. Hoping this location gets dialed in a bit more over time, because the vibe and menu are still solid.

THEY ARE FAKING REVIEWS!!!! I did not write this initial review and have never been to this place. I fear I have been hacked into or this business is paying someone to take people's google accounts and make up reviews. If the latter is true, this is terrible business and please do not go here. I fear that the other reviews from other people may be fake as well. I tried deleting this review but google said I can't for unknown reasons... so I suspect this business is doing something shady. That is why I'm editing my review to let people know that I did not write the initial review. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! THEY'RE FAKING REVIEWS!!!

Also, I do not support businesses that are heavily inspired or have a strong association with weed/marijuana. I have never smoked anything like that or support it, so I would never go to a business...

It's not as good as the Cheba Huts in Az, but it'll work. I don't like having to order at the bar and then wait for the bartender to bring me my check to pay after I finished. That's not how it goes and I feel like it's messing up the flow. She had to help everyone in the place while the other staff just directed traffic to her. This extra time that it took, stole about 10min from me and made me late back to work. Counter service and paying first is such a better flow. Doesn't have the feeling of a true Cheba Hut, you can tell that they are censored in ways because Texas is conservative. I miss the huge joints hanging from the ceiling and the "stick it to the man" vibe that Cheba Huts usually and should always have. The bread is still...
