I tried Cheba Hut a couple of days ago based on the reviews. I got two sandwiches, the White Widow and (8') and the 5-0 (12'). We spent about $35 which included drinks, no chips. My son loved the 5-0. The White Widow was okay, not bad, but I think I will customize it more to my liking next time. Based on the description, there is provolone cheese, but I didn't taste it at all. The chicken was a bit tough, but it was close to closing, not that it should matter. I also thought the bread would be a bit more toasted. My sandwich was pretty small and lacked enough toppings/ingredients. There we a couple of pieces of onion and one slice of tomato cut in half. I would also prefer pickle slices as opposed to spears. I don't eat beef or pork, so my options to try are limited, but everyone should try them! The atmosphere is pretty cool and the service...
Read moreTHEY ARE FAKING REVIEWS!!!! I did not write this initial review and have never been to this place. I fear I have been hacked into or this business is paying someone to take people's google accounts and make up reviews. If the latter is true, this is terrible business and please do not go here. That is why I'm editing my review to let people know that I did not write the initial review. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! THEY'RE FAKING REVIEWS!!!

That's not how it goes and I feel like it's messing up the flow. She had to help everyone in the place while the other staff just directed traffic to her. This extra time that it took, stole about 10min from me and made me late back to work. Counter service and paying first is such a better flow. Doesn't have the feeling of a true Cheba Hut, you can tell that they are censored in ways because Texas is conservative. I miss the huge joints hanging from the ceiling and the "stick it to the man" vibe that Cheba Huts usually and should always have. The bread is still...
