Daiquiri Island Togo — Restaurant in Houston

I’ve been a long time customer of this location and was always happy with the daiquiris! I visited recently and unfortunately you have lost me as a customer for life. I walked in to purchase some drinks for a party at my house, it was myself and my buddy both adult males and my 20year old daughter. I came in to buy 2 half gallon daiquiris. The attendant asked my daughter for her id not me who placed the order, I explained, that’s my daughter she is with me. He refused to sell me the drinks because my daughter didn’t have her id. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he would try to call but with an attitude! At that point I politely told him I guess my money is just good enough I guess and I left. Went down the street the another spot and was in and out in minutes and paid more. Customer service is everything and I will never shop at your...

The drinks are fire, I won't take away from them for that. However, I just ordered 2 32oz. drinks, 8ct buffalo wings and 3ct honey chipotle tenders. The drinks came correct BUT the sauces on the chicken were reversed. Honey chipotle on the wings and buffalo on the tenders. I'm mad but I drove a long way to get there so I started eating it anyway. I'm watching TV and eating, not really paying attention until i realized my chicken was getting chewy and harder to pull off... The chicken was raw!!! 🤮🤮🤮 I immediately drive back to the store and the guy was less than apologetic saying the chicken is supposed to be pre-cooked. He then said sorry, gave me $13 refund (I spent $40.03 🤔) and sent me on my way... 😤 forget the drinks, that was downright disrespectful. Recommending one of the other, many other, daiquiri...

Well...unbeknownst to me...this is no longer Frenchy's Chicken Shack. So...when you have a taste for Frenchy's wings, there's no substitute. 🤷🏾However, I tried since id driven way out the way. I ordered wings and a chicken tender basket. Both for a little under $20. I wanted lemon pepper wings. My wings were very wet (not to my liking) I just should have ordered plain, especially for a first visit. My chicken tenders were really good! There were 3 rather small tenders (3"). I think 4 would have been better based on the size. Fries were fresh, but not crisp. Taste was good. So not a terrible experience. One day I may return to try their daiquiris. The current special was $5 for 16 ounces. So maybe this...
