I’m extremely disappointed by my recent experience encountered at 2828 S Texas 6. Location, The district manager that governs this store needs to access and reevaluate the management/leadership in place at this store. The Assistant Manger Ms. Juanita lacks conflict resolution, customer service and ethical standard skills. My husband went into the store purchased washer dryer set (paid in full 1,521.94) on Feb 2,2024. Delivery was set for 2/7/24. We received a call from Samsung stating order received was mismatch set & did he want to proceed with this order or go into the store and have them fix. My husband & I had to drive almost in hour to go into the store to resolve, that alone was a huge inconvenience. We discovered that order was placed wrong by Appliance Associate Willie. After being greeted by a young lady that said she couldn’t assist us it was time for her to get off. We waited and Mr. Lester assisted us we explained to him what happened (Mr. Lester was very professional he tried to help us) Unfortunately it was no way around not canceling order and reordering so We asked him to please call manager to inform of our concerns after finding out we needed to cancel the order & repurchase. Keep in mind it does take 3-5 days for refund and we had to pay an additional 1,521.94. Ms.Juanita ASSISTANT MANAGER arrives didn’t greet us properly didn’t listen to our concerns had an attitude she even talked to Mr. Lester poorly because he was providing good customer service to us. We merely asked her what can you do to accommodate us for our inconvenience. She blatantly denied stated she doesn’t do any compensation until ordered is fully completed. This is a prime example it’s not about the money but how you treat your customers. She could’ve said I’m sorry for your inconvenience and waive $50-100 etc even delivery fee. Been more accommodating instead her EGO stood in the way. After how she spoke to us and handled this situation my husband advised her to cancel order and refund money back. Mr. Lester said I really don’t want to lose your business I’m sorry. While we appreciated his efforts he couldn’t override his manager. We immediately went to your competitor Lowe’s was treated respectfully and purchased the exact same set. I know this is a very lengthy review while nothing may change how Ms Juanita treats customers I hope it’ll help others to always know your Money spends anywhere & to spend it with Businesses that will value you as a customer and treat you...
Read moreMy very good friend who has worked for my family and in my house for 17+ plus years stopped into this location after arriving back from a trip to Mexico (she had taken the bus and was waiting for her daughter to pick her up so she had her small suitcase (with wheels) with her). She entered the store and immediately asked if anyone spoke Spanish so she could leave her suitcase somewhere while she shopped. No one cared to help her or address her concerns. She had to roll the suitcase around with her while shopping. She did some inventory shopping and took some pictures so when her daughter arrived to pick her up, she could help her select the correct things she needed. She went to leave the store to continue waiting for her daughter and as soon as she attempted to walk out, some large white dude accosted her and yelled at her to open her suitcase and blocked her from leaving the store. He demanded she open her suitcase without reason or probable cause. I guess he thought an older Latina woman with a small suitcase was an easy target to racially profile and bully. She refused to open her suitcase. She was incredibly offended and insulted. I'm assuming who is the manager, a female woman, also demanded she open her suitcase. Someone who works there and speaks Spanish finally came to assist her with translation. My friend demanded that they call the police because she had not stolen anything and that she was not going to open her suitcase until the police arrived. She told them to check their cameras (which evidently they had not done) because she was rolling the suitcase around where everyone could see it, in front of other customers, and employees. She wasn't hiding it or doing anything that would cause suspicion. They kept her there against her will for an hour. They did not call the police, and it wasn't until she told them that she works for a lawyer (me) and that she was about to call me, that they finally let her go. They had no reason or basis to stop her. They did it just because. Because apparently it is okay for Home Depot workers to racially profile customers, keep them against their will with no legal cause, and strip away their rights entirely. Shame on you, Home Depot, specifically this location. I will also be reporting this incident to Home Depot's corporate headquarters. Buyers be aware of this location and its employees who think it's okay to take the law in...
Read moreI have used Home Depot for years even before I work for this company, But what I do for this company calls For me going multiple times a day and spending thousands daily. We have a pro account and hardly ever complain about anything. Never had a problem until I started working in Houston and from time to time get some of the rudest employees I’ve ever dealt with. Today I went in Home Depot getting what I needed as an employee if I could get a piece of siding cut hat he said yes he will get somebody. He asked the guy next to him. PJ. And PJ told him no that’s not his job. So I said around the corner, waiting and waiting PJ walking around doing nothing. Finally, I ask a guy he sweeping and he says yeah he can get it done in a minute and then he asked PJ to do it. PJ kinda like threw his arms up like he was throwing a fit, but came down to cut it. at this point I asked what his name was and he told me his name was Michael. I’m guessing so I couldn’t report him, but I looked down his tag and seen PJ wrote on his apron. I went to the front and asked for a manager. As I was waiting, I noticed The guy that told him to cut that piece for me tell him to do something else which at that point I asked him if he was Dj supervisor and he said yes. I explained to him that PJ just ignored me and treated me really bad considering he knew what I was waiting for. He said he would talk to him. And I told him well I will give y’all a review. The accountability is the reason these employees are treating customers this way. Why would they change when there’s no consequences? I’m knowing customer service if I was to ever see someone treat someone that Way I would wrap them up immediately. Just watch the camera in the wood department from about 2:30 to 3 o’clock. He is obviously a employee that does not want to be there and does not take the job serious. I think supervisor should start getting in trouble for letting employees act that way is my Opinion. Not sure This review is gonna do any good, but I would want a customer to give me the opportunity anyways so that’s what I’m doing. I don’t like British reflect on Home Depot in As a whole, But it’s not the best look. Thank you for your time. Sorry if misspelled or words sound funny I’m driving and I’m trying to get back to...
