Daiquiri Land — Restaurant in Houston

My husband and I were super excited to try this place thanks to tiktok ...but tictok lead us all the way wrong! I have no idea how in the world this place even has the reviews it does....granted I am very particular about my the places I visit and the food ..but I also know when to have a bit of grace...but this place was literally lack luster .. the scene was cute super small inside, and the tables were cute with the magazine throwback style art, the walls were also nicely painted and very creative but the vibe did just did not match what I saw online and what I was expecting . Do not come here expecting to have a decent conversation because the music is just too loud for that ..but the mix of music was good ..also why does food come from next door ? I was wondering if it is prepared in the corner store ? Is there a kitchen in the back ..I was so confused...I used to go to school years back in that area so I was not about to be sitting outside in the 3rd ward...nope lol .. on to the food ...I rated it one star because it was just one flavor profile there was nothing exciting about the taste it was just basic...barely seasoned fish, shrimp, and blue crab. They would have done better seasoning the fish with just some Louisiana fish fry in the bag..I was expecting so much from the blue crab I did not know that I was going to have to do all that work I thought that the crab was taken out of his shell and fried. We only got two sauces for a huge platter of seafood... How can you eat all of that food which is too tiny and looks like less than 1 oz of sauce?? I can can go on an on ...but it would make my review a book....the boudain balls I asked for crawfish and got shrimp ..they were not spicy at all and the flavor once again ...just basic ..nothing that makes you even say "yum"..the daiquiris...I was expecting a pina colada in a pineapple or even in cute cup with the gummy worms.. false marketing ...my daiquiri was in a styrofoam cup with a sticker on the side with their slogan...I was so over it ...we paid 99.00 for our food...and I was pissed ..wish I would have just went to daquiri shack and got some food and drink ..and kept it moving straight back to the house..that's it with my rant..have so much more to say but imma end it on this note ... Now on to yelp ...I really do not like leaving bad reviews especially for our BOB..but come on we can do much better than this... Peace...

As others mention this establishment came across my social media a few yrs ago. This year I decided to try it. Honestly it was not what I expected for the dollar amount ($60) The photos can be misleading, compared to the photos on their SM page. Went there for crawfish, which were higher than any other establishments that I've visited so far this season. (11.99lb) dine in; (13.99 dine out / pick up. Purchased one of the combo packs that consists of 2 lbs of crawfish, 1 snow crab leg, shrimps, and the trimmings (necks, corn, potatoe, sausage). The shrimps were not fresh shrimp. They were actually shrimps that seemed to be pre-boiled/frozen package. I'm a seafood lover so I know the shrimps were not fresh shrimps. The Crawfish, I've had better! Sausage under cooked. Barely boiled. The atmosphere on a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 5. The 1 crab leg must have been on diet, because it definitely was not meaty. Looked like non quality legs HEB sell. Far as service, the waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu items. The parking lot is a little congested. I think other patrons should have respect when it comes to the parking and not just park all over the lot. There need to be bit more structure in this area. Would I return? I don't think so. I've had better crawfish. For the amount of money that I paid, I don't think the "quality" of the food was there, nor the taste as expected. The pictures looked very enticing. First and foremost, I must commend my server, Taco, for delivering exceptional service throughout my visit. From the moment I walked in, Taco greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel incredibly welcome. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of fantastic.

Not only did Taco provide prompt and efficient service, but she also took the time to answer all of my questions and offer recommendations from the menu. Her friendly and personable nature truly enhanced my overall dining experience.

The restaurant itself was also impressive. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a meal. The staff, including Taco, worked seamlessly together to ensure that all guests were well taken care of.

As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and each dish I tried was prepared with great attention to detail.
