OMG Seafood To Go — Restaurant in Houston

Daiquiri Land and OMG Seafood. The social media advertising will make you want to come here. Great job on that. Once you get there, you realize it's not what's advertised. The waiter asked if I wanted to dine in. I said yes! We sat at the bar. She smoked hookah until I had to ask her to come take our order. The wing specialis .99 cents per wing is A minimum of 6 wings. Surprise! Then the egg rolls say on the menu they are $4. I didn't know they were $4.99 until I received my receipt. By this time, I'm thirsty. I had to call her back while she was smoking hookah and ask for water. I have never been to A dine in place and had to ask for something to drink. Weird!! She then gave me one bottle of water. It was two of us dining in. She never acknowledged if the other person wanted something to drink. The eggrolls are from the dollar tree, and they fry them. Absolutely disgusting. The wings were the only savior they had. As the wings were just ok. So now I'm calling her back to ask her if I can pay. (She's still smoking hookah) I said maam are the eggrolls $4 or $4.99 I stated the menu reads $4. She shrugged her shoulders and stated I don't know why they ain't changed it. That's what the system says. And walks off! This place had great potential and could be an amazing asset to the community. However, young ladies, like the waiter I had, aren't a good representation of quality service provided. Hire people who like people. People who have a passion for service. People who care about your business. This young was mainly concerned with smoking hookah and her demeanor was very blah. Not inviting at all. I don't plan on coming back. The owner is very unprofessional I called the number to place a order she told me that they do not take phone orders so I came up to the location and the lady said they where taking phone orders and I ask why did the lady on the phone told me no she said the when you call it go to the owner phone but as a customer I don’t know that so I called back and the owner answer again and I said I’m here at the site and they do that phone orders she said not this location and hung up in my face first of all didn’t know they hade multiple locations and she should have ask me what location you calling about because this is the main line and all calls come through this one number ... totally turned off have a sickly child at home so I need to be fast when I’m out to get food wanted to try this place out and support putting my order in over the phone is a big help for me .. but never again and I will not support this business With a heartless owner and for her to hang up the phone in my face the manager at the other store was standing right by me I had the call on speaker phone and she was very hurt when she hung up on me ... long story but needed to share I will not again support this place 👇🏾 Long story because I’m a business owner to and it make your business look bad. I ordered the seafood boil (1/2 lb of shrimp, crab leg cluster, one corn, two potatoes, and two eggs) and 1lb of blue crabs. I am from Maryland so I was excited to see these on the menu. However, these were the worst crabs I’ve ever had in my life. They were over cooked and mushy. I’ll even excuse this because I should’ve known better getting blue crabs from any place that’s not Maryland. But my seafood boil was just as bad. The food was extremely salty and overcooked and it did not seem fresh. I did not get my two boiled and was really looking forward to those. In addition to that they charge extra for butter, in which I did not get either. I have no intentions on going back..maybe their fried food is better but this experience makes me not even want to...
