So I hate leaving negative reviews, but this is flat out I acceptable.. Been coming here to this exact location, since I was a little kid. Like my family would have to bring me here, I was that small. The employees are so nice and their customer service is on point. They've been through a few managers I've noticed, not many, maybe 1-3 or so in all the years I've been coming to this Dairy Queen. But there are a few things I do not like, and I think are just wrong here. #1 -they never ever, ever give you an itemized receipt for any or everything you just bought, just a credit card receipt or change from cash. Which makes me so skeptical. Like, there's no way 2 medium blizzards and a chicken strip basket meal with a medium Diet Coke costs $24.87. #2 and this is something that may seem trivial and miniscule, but if I'm not mistaken, aren't you supposed to be able to hold your blizzard upside down and nothing fall out of it? Yeah, that is absolutely 100% never the case. #3 it was 8:15 when I pulled up one evening recently, two cars in front of me, and then there ended up being 3 behind me. By the time I got up to order after waiting in line for 30 minutes, they told me they were closed. It was 8:46 pm. Their hours state they do not close until 9 pm. Once the cars in front of me were gone I pulled up, tapped on the window and they avoided me, as though they didn't see me. So I tapped on the glass, and an elderly gentleman came over, and asked me what was wrong. I asked him what was going on, that I had been waiting in line for 30 minutes, and on top of that it wasn't even closing time! He said "when we're not that busy we can close whenever we want." To which I replied, "sir I've been waiting in line for 30 minutes, there are two cars behind me and it's not even 9:00 yet. Your hours clearly state you close at 9 pm. He said "I'm sorry ma'am but we're closed." I said to him that I had been a customer, actually very loyal customer for many years and that this was not right. He said something about being a standing location? Or a stand-alone location? Privately owned? And that he can choose when to close whenever he wants. I told him this was not right, it was not good customer service and that's not how you treat people. "oh, he said ma'am I'm sorry we're closed have a good night" and shut the window and walked away. I was quite upset over this! He ended up being the manager / owner. So aside from them being incredibly overpriced, their blizzards being watery, almost like milkshakes, and the managers preference to close early on a Friday night when there are clearly still customers to be waited on and it's not even closing time yet-...
Read moreThis location is ROUGH! Its a franchise store and one that probably shouldn't exist anymore or should be sold off to someone who cares. The parking lot is heavily damaged, drive-thru is narrow and broken up, menu board is falling part, speaker box is also broken apart with exposed wires. The building is literally falling down with rust holes everywhere in the roofline over the sofets. Holes as big as a basketball in some places. The inside is closed and im sure it looks worse than the outside. They even put up advertisements that are outdated by YEARS over the windows at the drive-thru hand off window so you can't see in. Its one of those places you KNOW is a mistake but you give it the benefit of the doubt but you were right at first glance. The food: I got the freeto chilly hunger buster combo....don't. Not only was it poorly put together, the freetos were old and stale, there was virtually no "chilly" and 1 measly onion so small that i didnt even know it was there. I recieved maybe 12 French fries and that was it. I was so mad i damn near went back through the drive-thru to get my money back. It not like there was a line.... Do yourself a favor, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Anywhere...
Read moreNot. Ever. Again. Worst experience at a DQ, ever, EVAR!!! Came in bc I was told, over the phone, I needed to come in to order a blizzard cake. I get there, and told any blizzard, besides royal, I can make into a cake (already knew that), but was told "no" when I chose a flavor, no reason, just "no." This was who seemed to be mgr/owner. Clerk clarified, but still not clearly. Blizzard flavor selections very, VERY, limited. So decided against getting a $40 Blizzard cake which would basically be vanilla ice cream cake w candy mixed in. So we proceeded to order lunch. It took 30 mins to get us our 2 taco salads and chicken finger basket. There were 2 other customers before us, one only getting a sundae, and other got her food before I started ordering. No apologies for the length of time it took to get me my food, no nothing. Ohhh yeah, the entire time we're waiting for our food, the mgr/owner type person was on the cash register pushing something that kept making it beep. At first slow, but it got faster and faster, to the point I had to walk outside or I'd have exploded. I don't understand what he was doing that couldn't wait till he had no customers inside. This was after 130...
