Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Houston

I've been ordering my pizza from this location for years now and usually the service is impeccable but lately yall new drivers take so long to get here and I've had to go outside and walk ppl thru how to get to my doorstep. I just spent 15 whole minutes with a driver who was wandering around my apartments with my pizza in hand. I had to get dressed and go outside after 15 minutes just to see this lady like right outside my door. By the time I got the pizza she had been outside with it so long it was cold. Like if I wanted to walk outside in this weather i couldve just saved $15 and walked to Church's chicken or something. Really defeating the whole purpose of me ordering a delivery in the 1st place. I'm still giving 4 stars cause I assume drivers are still new and you guys always do an a1 job of addressing my concerns. I just needed you guys to be aware that maybe the new drivers need more time to learn the neighborhood before you guys start dispatching them independently. Very disappointing cause I had to get outta bed, get fully dressed to brave the cold and by the time I get my pizza it was just cold. Like.. i seriously dont even want it anymore. I could've walked to Walmart and made groceries for all this. And it shouldn't take 15 minutes to find an apartment unit. Especially when I could hear thru my window and my phone that the delivery lady was in the same proximity as me. None of it makes sense. I had a poor experience but overall the staff here is great and responsible. Just frustrated with the recent uptick in poor experiences. Love yall! The second time I delivered from this Pizza Hut on Antoine I found a fly in my jalapeno thin crust pizza I called up there that night and the person that was working said that he would send a delivery driver to give me my money back after he was done with all the other orders first it was already like like 10:30 I said I stayed up waiting for my money because I thought I would never be able to eat here again but I went up there the next day to get my money and the manager said that the guy that was on duty was written up and he that he was so sorry that that had happened and they didn't get back to us he he kindly offered me a free pizza and my money back but I said it I would have to wait a I would have to wait a while to eat there again he said no problem and gave me a customer voucher for $20 this being 3 days ago I just ordered a pizza tonight the staff gave me trouble but luckily the manager gave me his his personal number and he address the problem immediately even though I woke him up I do agree this is a bad area but I will always go to this Pizza Hut this manager made my night when I called him and he said just tell the delivery guy when he gets there that his manager said the order is free because they were giving me trouble he is the sweetest guy ever and I will always go back to...

The pizza itself was great. That’s the most important part. But the service was lacking. I chose curbside pickup because I had my young daughter with me and it’s so much easier and safer to just pull up and have the pizza brought out. However today, we pulled up, called the number that the app told us to call and just waited. We called atleast 4 times and never got through. I thought for sure they would glance outside and see my car and just bring it out, but they didn’t. 10 minutes later, in the rain, I got my daughter out and we ran inside. I could tell that the staff was stressed so I didn’t mention anything about the wait. I just waited for someone to help me. Then we were given our pizza and we left.
