I work here now as of September 2020 and I really enjoy coming here. I hope my post here helps to drum up some business as Fajita Flats has been in need of business due to the coronavirus pandemic. My parents had their first date here back in 1988, one year after this restaurant was founded, in 1987. The atmosphere is relaxing and Fajita Flats has 2 locations. This one and the one on Wilcrest right after S.W Freeway/59. I work up here now to help promote the business with Red, the owner, who's an incredibly nice guy. You won't regret coming in here if you've never been! I order the Compuestos Nachos, and my mom ordered one of their order combinations. The soup is complementary, and good as well! If you've never been here, I strongly recommend it. Not only because I work here, but because of the experiences I've had before working here, after church with my family. Go check Fajita Flats out on facebook and give them a like as it will soon be active again.

Older establishment but comfortable and good prices. Seems to be a locals restaurant. The restaurant is one very large open room with a square bar in the middle, a tv on the wall and a jukebox as you enter. The patio looked fairly nice from what I could see. The west sun hits it directly (month of March around 6:00 pm) so we chose indoor seating. We did not have a margarita, but I’ve heard they are pretty good (and strong). They serve chips and salsa like all Mexican restaurants AND complimentary soup before the meal. The dinner bill with tip for 2 adults (no alcohol) and 1 child was $47.00. Restrooms were clean. Order consisted of the grilled chicken with broccoli (delicious!), chicken enchiladas and kids taco plate. I would have rated 5 stars if the serve was a little faster. We sat for a good while waiting for drink refills and then again for our check to arrive. Other than that, it was a good experience. We will return to try the margaritas.

I was not overly impressed upon parking (the building and parking lot look as if they have seen better days). I was greeted at the door and asked where I wanted to sit and if I wanted soup (only Mexican place I have been to that offered this complementary). The chips were nothing to write home about, the salsa was good with lots of flavor, and the soup was good as well (I typically don't like soup). I ordered 3 ground beef enchiladas and was asked if I wanted any toppings (jalapenos, cilantro, or onions) which I have never been asked before but loved the idea and additional flavor it added. Overall the service was amazing; I didn't have to ask for any refills. I also got to witness their birthday celebration which adds an extra unique idea to the sombrero, makes it more fun to pay attention. Overall I was very pleased with my visit and will be back again to try out some other dishes.

Facilities- Ehh.. Service- Good Staff- Friendly & Attentive Food/Drinks- Delicious Prices- Decent Parking- Awkward

My Experience: I came here after work. My coworker suggested this place because there is music, great food, and alcohol. Fun fact, I don't drink, so the latter doesn't really matter to me, but it matters to my other coworkers.

To get to the restaurant, you need to really pay attention. If not, you'll have U-turn. It's not hidden, but it's placed awkwardly next to a Sunny's Corner store. Parking awkward for that same reason. The area has a sketchy feeling to it. That doesn't bother me, that just adds a certain flavor and tells me that the food should be really authentic 😏.

The ambiance inside isn't something to brag about. It looks outdated but that shouldn't deter you. Once again, that let's me know the food should be good 😏

I'm not a food connoisseur so take this review with a grain of salt. The chips and salsa were OUTSTANDING! I had 2 baskets by myself. I ordered a sampler and everything on it was great. My coworkers enjoyed their meals also. They really liked the drinks. They said their Margaritas were delicious and that they didn't taste the alcohol which apparently sounds like a good thing since I don't drink, but apparently that can be the prequel to a really GREAT NIGHT or TERRIBLE NIGHT.

The music is good, they do allow you to choose from their jukebox. During our visit a group of what I assume are teenagers came in. Their taste in music varies from mine, so it's good that the machine has all sorts of tunes.

I hope you enjoyed this review. Don't forget to tip...
