We came here for the first time for lunch. The food was delicious, but our experience could have been better. It would be great to include what the dishes consist of on their menu, so that first-timers like us could better understand what it is we're ordering. Also, please add water bottles to the drinks selection in the fridge as there weren't any & if it's something we could ask for at the counter, we wouldn't have been able to anyway because the crew was so busy at the back that we couldn't get a second to ask them. *** We love trying out food from different cultures. When it was our turn to order, I had to ask what the dish tasted like (spicy or sweet) & if it was for single or multiple serving because those weren't indicated on the overhead menu. The lady taking our order seemed to be the one in charge of the restaurant. We could see that she was very busy coordinating multiple large tray orders. She seemed irritated with my questions & was a little curt with me. We're Asian & we look southeast Asian & I couldn't have been more aware of this as we lined up to order because the lady taking our order & the rest of the crew in the kitchen were giving us weird looks. It did make me feel out of place considering it was our first time here. The wait time wasn't long even though the kitchen crew was giving out multiple large-tray orders left & right. The food was delicious & new to our taste buds. It's clear that they are popular with so many orders going out. There were many families with young kids who dined in at the same time we did, so we could say that it's a family-friendly restaurant as it was also spacious for large numbers of people.

I'll be brutally honest: I didn't even try the food. Entering the stark and uninviting room, I was greeted by suspicious stares from the seven customers and the three female employees. I asked one of the women if they have a menu I could look at. She pointed to the photo menu above the ordering counter. No prices. Folks, that's just disrespectful. Sure, their close friends and long-time regulars might have the prices memorized, but what about potential new clients? How the heck do you have a menu with no prices? I chuckled, turned, and walked out. I give one star ONLY because you can't post a review without at least one. My own rating: Zero stars.

The products are the worst product... Their dealings with customers is bad.. I bought 2 bags of kuba (9 pcs ) and when cooking, we were shocked that it didn’t contain the meat and I threw it and when I complained to the owner of the store, he evaded compensation. I advise you to check the materials very well and do not trust them They are good just for making the KABAB and bread that’s it No appreciation for them

Horrible place. Every time the staff is very rude, maybe once or twice they will say "Hi", but most of the time they ignore me and talk to other customers in Arabic even though I am waiting in line in front of them.. It is very obvious this is discrimination. Even the manager form the other side by the grill is extremely unprofessional and aggressive. One time I asked him for the bread and he yelled, "Over there!" I will never spend another dollar there for that level of disrespect. It is obvious they bring their prejudices here with them. They should have a private club for their friends only if that is the case, in the meanwhile, respect your customers and be professional and understand that we do not put up with that bigotry ad obvious homophobia here in this country. Even the guests gang up on you if you are not like them. Avoid it...

This will be an interesting review. You know there are some restaurants which are inefficient and sort of unorganized but the food is so good that you keep quite? Dijla grocery and the restaurant next door are like that. Dijla grocery has the kababs and Shawarma but only to go. The food is awesome but as I said you may have to wait a long time or if they have too many orders then tough luck. Similarly, the restaurant next door is also family run but the menu does not even say what is available and when! If you are of Iraqi descent then you would know which ones are breakfast dish and which are not because menu is on board with no price or serving times. But the food is so good; home cooking. The best is to call ahead and ask. Request to the owner: please have menu with prices and serving times ( breakfast / lunch ) at...
