Not good at all. First thing was fajita meat ; I ordered beef; had been run through a tenderizer that looked like what one would get for cube steak. All the holes poked in it. It was still tough. Really poor quality of cut. Anyone that has spent any time around beef fajita KNOWS that when slicing; the cut is cross grain not parallel with. Add to the toughness. Flavor was over salted. No beef flavor. Tortillas were not cooked thoroughly. Greasy and translucent. Not light and fluffy or evenly toasted. Pretty hard to screw that up no? Rice was dry and flavorless and refried beans were watered down to almost soup. Serving portions were small. Beef fajita for two was ordered and I was served very small portions of sides, maybe enough for one plate anywhere else. Roasted jalapeños were black and no spicy flavor at all. Over cooked as well and mushy. 16 oz. Margarita not good either. Seems that it was just the mix and they maybe waved the tequila bottle over the top of the machine. Very bad over all and the absolute worst part of all was the price! I left there with a $45 bill for some “food” that was trash. This establishment should be closed down or the owner should fire everyone there as they clearly had no fajita skills at all. This was my first time there but not my first time for fajitas. Disappointed to say the least. Should have spent my money at...
Read moreFor some reason I had formed an opinion about Fajita Pete's before even trying it. Perhaps because there are just so many places in the area to get fajitas, and at all price levels. I figured if they offered delivery there was just no way they would be as good as any of the multitude of other places to get fresh fajitas. Well, I was wrong and I'm willing to admit that. I ordered fajitas, queso and extra sides for delivery. The delivery was prompt and the food showed up perfectly warm. I found that the price and the quality were a perfect match. The queso was DELICIOUS and the portion sizes were generous. If you've ever ordered queso and come home with fewer chips than you needed, you won't have that problem here. The beef was tender and flavorful. A great taste with an added hint of lime. The rice was soft, it was cooked just right. The beans had the perfect consistency. The tortillas.. well I could go on and on about the tortillas. They were perfect and could have been a meal all on their own. To top it all off the delivery driver was prompt and friendly. I will definitely be ordering again. The convenience of delivery fajitas without the DoorDash/GrubHub/UberEats delivery fees and inflated prices combined with the delicious...
Read moreWe recently had Fajita Pete’s Clear Lake cater my birthday party. We were expecting 35ish guests, and we ordered 3 chicken fajita packs for 10, along with an order of chicken fajitas for 4 (so total for 34). It was delivered on time (with a reasonable delivery fee) by a friendly employee who helped get it all set up. We ended up with 34 guests, and had PLENTY of food (it included meat, tortillas, beans, rice, pico, cheese, guacamole, shredded lettuce, chips, and salsa). Everyone RAVED about the food!!! It was all SOOOO GOOD!!!! We were even able to eat leftovers for DAYS, and it was delicious reheated as well!! We had priced around to other local restaurants, and sampled from a few other places as well. Not only was Fajita Pete’s one of the less expensive options, it was one of the highest quality options as well! We were super impressed with everything, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Fajita Pete’s!!! One thing to note: they don’t have onsite dining… it is all to-go...
