I gave a 1 star because the chicken wasn’t done and the lady handing the food out was rude. I visited on a Saturday night, 09/23/23, and I ordered a 4 pc meal mixed. The restaurant was busy and loud, no issues there, but there was a lady yelling out the order numbers/names and oftentimes her voice was drowned out by the crowd. The times you could hear her, you could tell she was frustrated calling the numbers and names multiple times but the customer not arriving at the counter immediately, which was hard to do because it was so crowded in the order and pick up area. When my number was called, she had to call multiple times but only because I was trying to move through the crowd. When I made it to the counter, I told her my number and she had an attitude and tossed the bag on the counter toward me. She was also bagging the food and didn’t even have the decency of closing the box the chicken was in—it was wide opened in the bag. So when I started eating and realized the food wasn’t cooked all the way, it made me mad more. You’re upset people aren’t rushing to the counter to get undercooked chicken. The fries and Hawaiian roll were good though. Smh.

My first experience at Frenchys and it was top tier!

Overall, it’s a 3.5 out of 5. The seasonings is what brings you back. Top tier. Now here’s my always dilemma with this location. 1. I ordered the catfish and fry and a 5 piece wing to eat there. Both the chicken and the fish was warm. That’s not cool if I’m paying $30 for my food. It should be fresh for the amount of time it took to wait for it. Only got 3 ketchups with both meals, one wipe and zero hot sauces or tartar sauce packs for my fish and missing my second roll. Suggestion: All eat in orders need to be made to order. Leave all take outs for the line. Eating in should always be a great experience! Why should I have to eat warm food when I’m paying hot cash. Nothing upsets me like paying my money and my food ain’t hot. And the cashier should be prepared to ask if you want specific condiments when order specific meals. Hot sauce and chicken go together like Fish, hot sauce and tartar sauce. Please do better next time.

I'm being nice with a 2. First of all, I ordered through Uber eats and scheduled delivery 840 pm. I check back around 830 and it shows cancelled. So I try and order again but it won't let me so I order my son an Uber and then call them to tell them to please make fresh and have ready as my son is going to pull up, spoke to Tayvon and he assured me this was no problem. My son arrives 6 minutes later and when he gets there he has to wait ten minutes. When he gets home the food is cold including the fries, the order is missing items and the rice is disgusting. The only upside was the boudin wraps. No bread. No extra tenders. I paid. 21$ for an Uber to pick up a 32$ order so yeah I'm a little upset. Called back spoke with Tayvon and he told me he could replace the tenders only and give me the fries. I'm on the phone explaining to him what's going on but he is trying to make excuses, I'm like but I called you. You assured me this was going to be fixed. On top of that I'm not well but Tuesday when I am I call and speak to Meggie and she tells me to come in with my receipt. I get there and when I say I felt like I was the wrong one. The attitude of the people was not like LET ME FIX THIS. LET ME RESTORE OUR SERVICE AND FOOD. IT WAS LIKE OH LORD SHE WANT SOMETHING FREE. IT WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. MEGGIE OR MAGGIE NOT SURE HER NAME WAS SO NICE AND PROFESSIONAL NOT HER Counterparts!! AND THE FOOD WAS MUCH BETTER, THE SERVICE NOT SO MUCH. ITS SAD THAT THE FOOD COSTS THAT MUCH FOR SUBPAR SERVICE. EMPLOYEES GOSSIPPING AND ON THEIR PHONES WHILE CUSTOMERS WAITING AND THEN THEY WERE ROLLING THEIR EYES AND QUESTIONING THE INTEGRITY OF MY COMPLAINT LIKE... I COME TO FRENCHYS AT KEAST ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK AND I THINK I'VE OVEREXTENDED MY SUPPORT BECAUSE THESE LAST TWO TIMES PATRONIZING THIS BUSINESS HAS BEEN HORRIBLE, LIKE I DONT EVEN WANT TO SPEND MY MONEY...

I visited the new location last night (12/10/22) b/t 6:30-7:00 PM. After sitting in the drive-thru I decided to park and go to the walk-up window, instead. The older, black female associate seemed to be doing her best to take orders and keep the line moving, but there really should have been at least one other register available since the lobby wasn't open. It would have even been more expedient to have one of their associates w/ the handheld device helping w/ the walk-up orders, as well.

After standing in line almost a half-hour I was next to place an order behind two gentlemen in front of me. As they concluded their transaction a younger, 20-something-lookin' female team lead/supervisor (slim build wearing a black head wrap w/ eye glasses) approached the older window associate. First, she angrily addressed one of the men in front of me by instructing him to move back from the window! These men were doing nothing more than waiting for their receipt and drinks. However, the tone she used was rude and beyond aggressive! She then slammed the window shut with visible annoyance, and proceeded to openly critique/reprimand/redirect the older female associate in plain sight of the customers.

It was disturbing to watch this scene unfold in such a disrespectful manner so I left w/out ever placing an order. This young woman's atrocious attitude was reminiscent of previous poor service experiences at Frenchy's, which is why I haven't been in years. I gave them another try thinking the service might now reflect such an impressive new building. However, there's a persistent vibe that seems to suggest they can treat customers poorly because the product is so addictive people will overlook it.

Hopefully, management uses their surveillance technology to review this situation and deal with it...

RIP Rest in Power to the creator of Frenchys! One of the best products then and now on the market. My review has nothing to do with the product. However when you buy something you want common perks without a attitude. The staff at this location are awesome. They are following orders. So if you visit this location do not take it out on the staff. They have been trained or told to say and do certain things a certain way. Not their fault! No honey No hot sauce! If I was a business that had cut my teeth on the dollars of a great city such as Houston, Texas and a community such as 3rd Ward Texas I don't think I would have the nerve to sell chicken (Great) chicken and not offer my paying customers whatever the ---- they requested within reason. So honey and hot sauce is not within reason???? Just another business making it's money off of a community that is without a major grocery store within reach of all residents. Frenchy's knows that their chicken will sell so who cares. Let them find honey and hot sauce at the convenience store right. Finally the parking lot is a joke. Again, management does not care so why fix it. My review is a YMMV your mileage may vary when visiting Frenchy's. If you are okay with outdated customer service but a good product this place is just for you. If you desire the simple things that come with a great meal such as easy parking, condiments, extended efforts to make sure a customer returns then I suggest you keep it moving. Humble yourselves Frenchy's Owner's! Humble yourselves and show some gratitude towards those who have made a way for...
