Fuego's — Restaurant in Houston

I came here after a long day of work. It was around 7 p.m. and I was just around the area with a friend. Thursday nights are steak night for $16, it came with mashed potatoes with onions and bacon mixed into it and a salad. My friend got a Philly cheese steak with salt french fries.

The steak was very dry even though I requested to get this cooked medium. the mashed potatoes were extremely intense with onions. I think the salad was my favorite part. Let us was extremely fresh along with the other veggies and it also had bacon!

The Philly cheese steak was not too bad. Unfortunately, was a little on the salty side. french fries tasted like they've been made and have been sitting out, so lukewarm. Flavor was not bad if you add ranch. I got a glass of wine for about $5 which of course you can't go wrong. The bartender did tell me that a server will be assisting us but after 5 or so minutes, I had to order from the bar from being so hungry.

I enjoyed my service with the bartenders. They were very sweet, provided recommendations, let me know about the specials, and helped me have a good time!

In terms of location, why not? If there's heavy traffic and you are around the area, it's a great place to go. The place is clean, plenty of TVs, atmosphere is nice and everyone is actually very friendly. I think I spoke with two or three different people when I was there and again, so friendly! Drink prices were very reasonable and games were on along with other things that we're very entertaining. check in on Yelp, they are having a customer appreciation week or so. The server made everything seem like it was the best food on earth. Wings came out microwaved . We waited 1.2hrs for apps. They tell us cooks are in a meeting. When we complained, the food came rolling out. That means the food sat there while the waitress was in the back enjoying the party. I would say don't pay up front . The empannadas was so nasty was crazy didn't eat them the Toco where cool but warm cause they sat. I order a Jameson on the rocks and they fill the entire cup with ice with tiny bit of liquor to the point , by time she brought it to the table it was filled with water. She used crashed iced smh... 🧊. That place needs a better manager so they can train those people better. Just cause you where short shorts and look like strippers don't negate the fact that the food we paying for should of been better presented. She new She took so long that after she brought the food over, we never seen her again. That place shouldn't even get 1 star but I had to use 1 so I can leave this comment. I arrived and started a decent night. I had two men approach me and talk about selling me. Very un comfortable and weird. I told security and they didn’t care. The bartenders cared and were watching the men when i left. I Am left to wonder if they took advantage or did weird things. I’ll never know because security really was not security. Therefore i did not feel safe here. I spent over $200 here alone but never felt safe. That’s a weird thing to do, in my opinion. especially alone. I was never given why or any sort of management. I’m and have been a bottle girl, shot girl, and also a bartender. I’m left to wonder where the managrment was in this situation. Overall i think the idea was fun, but it was executed Poorly. I can’t believe i was paying $20 with auto added gratuito per a vodka Orange juicio but didn’t feel safe and security didn’t care. I will send me and my friends to a different bar from here out. The sad part is the owner won’t care because they make money but yet they lose me and my friends who are regulares. Good luck. I love the idea but but the execution sucks.
