I can't even describe how bad this experience was for me and my family! Today March 27th at 6pm we decided to try something different. We wanted to try out a new sushi place I saw here on Yelp! If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. As soon as we walked in the host seated us and he was so friendly and welcoming. He took our drink order and gave us our drinks and said the server would be right with us. He was the only good thing that came out of this experience. It took the waitress 30 minutes to even visit our table to take our order. we kept watching and noticed she kept visiting other same tables over and over again instead of ours. We started to get impatient but we just waited patiently. When she finally gets to our table she was very rude didn't even greet us just asked for our order. And as we were ordering my husband asked me whether or not we should get a certain appetizer and she just walks away and didn't even let us finish ordering, I guess she just assumed we were done. And she walked to the next table to take their order. So as we waited for our appetizer it took about 20 minutes or so she comes out and brings the appetizer to the people that got there after us and ordered after we did. At this point I thought this was just ridiculous already. We continued to wait and almost 10 minutes go by and still no appetizer nor did she come check on us this whole time. We decided to just walk out and leave. I haven't walked out and had this bad of service in along time. It's unfortunate, we really wanted to like this place since it's so close to home. we decided to go across the highway to Nukumi Sushi. Now that place has some great service our waiter was phenomenal and the sushi is amazing! They even made a balloon animal for my daughter so that made her night. I highly recommend Nukumi Sushi if you're looking for a quality Sushi place in the Kingwood area. And the place absolutely reeks of nail salon from the...

I went for lunch. I arrived at 2:35pm. Google advises that this location closes at 3pm and reopens at 5pm. As I entered and am standing at the tables (no one approached me at the entrance and no host seemed to be available) a young lady gets up from a back table where she was chit chatting with a server. She doesn't ask me anything and tells me firmly that they're closing in 15 min and I should come back at 5pm. I said "ok", " you're closed now and won't be able to serve me?" She seems bothered and says that she needs to ask someone. She goes to the back, comes back after a couple of seconds, and says sit at any booth. I ordered the teriyaki shrimp, and hot and sour soup. The soup arrived. It was delicious. Spicy and tangy with plenty of tofu and mushrooms and such. The bento box arrived and it was quite good. The vegetables were fresh in a savory brown sauce. The salad was good and had plentiful ginger dressing. It came with white rice which was ok. The shrimp, five medium shrimp, they were grilled to perfection. The teriyaki sauce was exquisite. Sweet and peppery, not like I've had before. The taste was refreshingly unique and tasty. Overall all the food was great and I will definitely come back just because of the food. I will need to come very early as to not get the nasty attitude of the server (Abby). If you don't serve after 2:30pm then you should say so somewhere. The menu clearly says lunch 11am to 3pm. Not til 2:30pm...

Our waitress kept changing and taking turns to serve us which was just confusing and disorganized. Ordered tempura and veg as appetizers but rolls came out first as is. Coke was diluted. Odd to be seated by the entrance when the place was practically empty. Had to ask for plates and dish to for soya sauce dip halfway, as, they didn't come with any. When we asked for a second serving of rolls, it took awhile for the rolls to be served but the wasabe and ginger was promptly served that time round. Btw, we agreed to be seated right by the entrance, beside another couple and behind another man who left soon after. We asked to change for more quiet and thankfully we did, as the crowd picked up afterwards as three families showed up to dine in. By the time tempura came, we just lost the mood to take pics and this turned out to be just blah. We came because of the reviews. Not impressed and not worth a...

Ginger Robota and Sushi, what an amazing meal we had. The resturant is beautiful and cozy, no noise. The service is friendly and personable and the waitstaff so attentive. Our first course was the scallops on spoons- so perfectly delicous- don't miss it! The next was a lovely display of tempura shrimp and vegetables. We then dove into a one of a kind poke bowl (a variety of quality fish) Next came the Vegas roll - a unique, tasty sushi roll. I got a flavorful cajun handroll- very much recommended. We then tried the lamb chop robata- perfectly grilled with the pairing of bacon wrapped asparagus. The fine dining experience of the friendly, family owned Ginger Robota and Sushi has something for everyone and for any occasion.
