Nov. 9th I placed a mobile order, waited the correct time so they would have our order ready. We arrive & asked for our order. We wait a bit & the guy just hands us a bag with drinks & a bag of 5 meal boxes stuffed into one. He just closed the window & we had no choice but to assume everything was in the bag. I was going to pull back around because he only gave us 3 out of 4 drinks. Then I noticed I asked for unsweet tea for someone with diabetes yet he gave us sweet. I decided to check the food. We had four meals. Two were fried & we selected 3 thighs each on the app. We got one thigh and two legs in each. The other meal was the golden roast & I selected the upcharge for two breasts instead of one & a wing. Yet I got a wing still because they thought I picked a fried breast on the side. That plate of roast chicken had the side of green beans all over the chicken & plate. Even after fixing the breast plate we still only got bad pieces that were pretty much just bones. Every single bread roll was twisted or flattened out. I go to the window & didn't even know where to start. I tell the guy I'm not trying to be rude but there are alot of things wrong. He states he didn't make the food so he asks if I want to talk to the manager. The manager comes out, I explain how we didn't ask for legs. He says if I want all thighs then I would have to wait. I selected thighs for a reason on the app so yes please. He made it seem like they didn't feel like customizing the order how I selected it on the app. Why would he tell me I need to wait if I want thighs when that is the reason why I went to pick up my food at the time the app suggested. I cannot believe they made the food how they felt like it, and not once did they apologize for the inconvenience. On top of it they looked bothered in fixing our order which only made us worry about them doing dirty things to the food they fixed. Every single plate except the tender one was wrong. I would have been so shocked to get home to my family with all the food wrong if I hadn't checked. Theres several people working with hardly any other customers yet none took the time to make it right the first time. We used to visit when the location was new but now after seeing the way the employees don't care to do things right, we don't think there's any hope of a good experience again. Read more7/8/2021 visit: I've been coming to the Bissonnett location since they first opened. Absolutely love Golden Chick especially when I'm traveling. Service at this location has always been mediocre. The long wait for the drive thru all the time, the occasional attitude from the lady that works the drive thru and they will forget to put all the food you ordered in your bag sometimes. Today I witnessed the upmost disrespectful behavior of an employee to a customer. The lady in front of me stated to the cashier outloud the young short gentleman just dropped the fry scoop, picked it up off the floor and proceeded to scoop fries into a fry tray. She repeated it several times due to the cashier ignored her. One of the managers walked up due to the cashier needed assistance and I asked if he could wash it off. The young gentleman walks to the front and ask the customer who are you talking to. She stated loudly I watched you drop it on the floor and pick it back up and put fries in a tray and about to serve it. What follows Absolutely blew my mind!!! He ask the female customer who are you Bro, you don't know me Bro, why are you watching me Bro, I didn't drop anything you're a lie. OMG I'm standing there in awe shaking my head. The employee and customer exchanged words for at least 2 or 3 minutes. What made the situation even worse is the manager on duty.. Although the manager on duty was nice NOT once did he ever tell the employee to be quiet or to go to the back. The manager didn't even apologize to the customer he only offered a nonchalant response of I've washed it off already. I will say the customer was very loud raising her voice but she wasn't disrespectful and said she's going to report it to the owner. I've noticed a lot of the younger kids working in fast food places have a lack of respect for their jobs and of customers. It's said this type of behavior happened and no one intervened. Read moreIt’s a shame that the service is so bad here because the food is usually good. The lady in the drive thru with the short red hair is soooo rude, I took her bad attitude the first time I had the displeasure of meeting her thinking she was tired but she smarted off to me again today as I was at the drive thru menu. Apparently she was speaking to the car in front of me (she had her microphone on so I didn’t know that), when I said that wasn’t my order she screamed that she wasn’t talking to me. I ordered through the app and gave them 45 minutes to get my order together because last time I only gave them 20 minutes and they literally had no chicken cooked that time. So even after 45 minutes, they didn’t even know I had ordered so…no order, luckily they actually had chicken ready. I thought the Popeyes a block over was bad but this place…Go anywhere but here. And to top it off, they shorted me on my tenders so an hour after I ordered, I’m finally on my way home with my food. And…I got home to find the world’s most disgusting gravy, it looks like tapioca pudding....
