Food was great but their customer service is bad. We went tonight with our family and everything was going great until a waitress named Letty decided to take out her anger on my 9 year old son. He had grabbed a plate but decided he wanted ice cream instead. He placed the plate back with the rest of the plates and letty saw and asked him why he was putting it back. I understand why there would be a problem with that due to sanitation issues since he had already grabbed the plate. What she did after was uncalled for, she grabbed the plate my son had placed and threw it on top of the counter in front of my sons face. As my husband and I saw everything from a far. I later asked her what happen and she decided to lie to my face and say she hadn’t slammed the plate, when clearly my husband and I saw. Our waiter later asked us what had happened as he also saw when letty threw the plate when we explained to him the situation and he apologized for the entire situation. I later went to talk to the manager of this establishment and he never did once apologize for the entire issue. I understand if she was having a rough day and I understand my son was in the wrong but it was really unnecessary how she reacted to a 9 year old. I also didn’t appreciate how the manager really didn’t care or apologized and he took forever to come out of his office. Read moreI don’t really do the buffet thing but I do order online and I’ve ordered the bourbon chicken from Golden Corral on a few occasions. Well last night I placed my order and apparently I messed up and ordered a family meal and I’ve previously ordered the from the catering menu. So I called them back after picking up the order and explained that we didn’t receive any rice and the young lady said “no problem I’ll let my manager know “ so I go back and as soon as I get there the manager Bob greets me and immediately says “ma’am I think I know what happened “ and he explains to me the difference in the menu and he was 100 percent right and I was 100 percent wrong but what does Bob do? He says “ I tell you what let’s get you fixed up with a dish of chicken and rice because it’s my goal to make this right “ and that’s just what he did and with such politeness and a promptness and a nice smile. I’m leaving this review because today Bob looked back at my previous orders and took it upon himself to give me a call today to make sure that I was totally aware of the different parts of the menu so the next time I order I won’t miss anything and it will be twice as easy. You really don’t get this kind of great customer service anymore so I’m hoping the powers that be at Golden Corral really appreciate Bob and the great service that he’s providing to their customers....
Read moreNever again. My family and I visited this location on July 2, 2019, around (time) 1800. First, our waiter didn't seem to understand that we needed 9 utensils (the pack that comes in the paper slip). Instead, he brought us plastic utensils. We decided just to take the utensils from other tables. Secondly, the manager came to ask us how we were doing and addressed the man at the table. I wouldn't have taken offense to this, however, when I tried to clarify, he said, "that's what my man and I are trying to figure out" pretty much telling me in a professional way that the "men are talking." The manager gave us some extra utensils, but attention to detail would have deduced that we didn't need them. Every time the manager came to the table, he ONLY addressed the man at the table. NEWS FLASH: a WOMAN paid for the entire party!!! Finally, the gray booster seats... spend the extra dollars on replacing them. Most are chewed and scratched like a teething puppy got a hold of them, or they're missing the center clip, making the entire seat-belt useless. Ultimately, though we had a communication issue with our waiter in the beginning, throughout our meal, he was very attentive. For that Jose, we thank you.
This USE TO be the place my family and I went when we had 6 or more people. Now, we'll settle with Cici's, China V Star, or literally any buffet instead...
